THY,

When I saw your name in RED - I just couldn't beleve it was you - you were one awesome poster and tester.

After I realized it was really you - I started doing the "Happy Dance" . I know what you can do for this community and I applaud the devs for bringing you on board. Good Luck. and Texas isn't really that bad - is it?

Congrats Thunder! So does this mean I can quit my thread that lists all the links I can find on the stat bug? You are going to do all that research? I was almost ready to start another thread listing all the threads that had to do with the chat problems since I came across that one yet again tonight, but I'll let you find them instead

Congratulations TH!

I wish Sony would open a SWG franshise in Australia. I would love to get paid for discussing the game and making the game a better place to live in cyberspace.

I'm Looking forward to seeing how the mood of the boards change with you assisting the community. I'm sureit will be for the best.

(gee some of the beta post days were good werent they... remember when they told us there would be no mini games on shuttles, remeber Lazy Amy wanting to make a red AT-AT cantina... its great that you can be involved in these discussions.... and get paid! Its a dream job)

I have to say that the very recent developments at SOE and the addition of Thunderheart (with teh rather copious praise heaped upon him) have me reconsidering leaving the game.

I plan to keep tabs as long as I can, and possibly renew just to access the boards for a while, and see if there is some real change in the works.

You seem to be accomplishing a very important part of your job.. Community relations. By far these are the most non-vindictive posts I have seen in response to a SOE post.

I hold serious hope that you can indeed help improve the game, time will tell.

My congratulations also on realizing your dream,

Steve

For those of us who hope to maybe follow in your steps someday, could you tell me how exactly you got an interview, and why they selected you? Was it purely based on the fact that you had done massive amounts of posting and such, and thus were "known" to them here on the boards? I'm always immensely curious on exactly how people got where they are. Thanks, and congrats!

That's awesome, I'm glad they picked you.

*imitates Morpheus from The Matrix* "I believe you are the one we've been looking for."

*imitates Mace Windu* "Do you think he's the one who can bring balance to the force?"

I'm excited to see what your capable of. Most excited because I can imagine how your past experience with the game can help us all. Thank you... Now bring balance... and fix stuff.
