Welcome. I'm glad you're here. A player perspective is really needed.


Mean post... now, don't get me wrong, if the counter guy gets my order wrong at Taco Bell, I don't yell at him. I do make him fix it though. If he refuses to fix it, I'm going to get mad. If I realize that there is just no way he cares about my tacos and nobody above him cares about his lack of customer service, then I might say something mean.


So I'll agree to never post anything mean if you'll agree to treat me like a valued customer. You start first

All the Devs care, they really do. 3+ years on a project has to have that effect on them...but to us they're simply faceless nerf bat swinging evil-types...

Man its been a long time since I've seen some of the "old timers" from the boards. I had to quit shortly after beta started and am just now getting back to SWG. I was starting to wonder if I was the only one still playing. hehe


I can't think of a single person though, that will be as good for this job as Thunderheart. I can remember few if any posts where he was not saying something positive, and even when other people were very passionate about what they were saying, Thunderheart always took it in strive and had something good to say about it.


You're gonna need that times 100 now for sure TH.

That was probably the most down to earth post I have ever seen by someone in a position of authority. I guess that's why they picked you, because you seem to have an inate ability to connect with the community. Grats on the position, and good luck. We all want the same goal, even though some of us get more vocal than others.


This is quite a step forward for SWG. The Devs have made a very good choice.
