Anyone else notice that those new consumable weapons don't have a 'uses remaining' number? Can I be allowed to get very giddy and excited and take it that this means those weapons are not consumable anymore? And that I might use them?

Oh, and Chess, the TKAs get the blaster knuckler, and commandos get the massasi blade knuckler. Weird eh? I'd like to see that switched before this goes live, as it'd make a great deal more sense the other way around.

Yeah they do.... trying to remeber exactly, but I believe it was a Tier III cert for them. I also agree with you... get that ancient knuckler out of our certs and put it with the rest of the vibroknuckler style weapons. Give us the blaster fist as it matches our profession more unless they are trying to force templates... I.E. SL taking Pistol XP and Combat Medic requiring Pistols IV as a prereq.

Really? I must've not seen it in the TK skill tree when I looked; couldn't get onto test last night to check again like I'd hoped, figures, I was planning on seeing if I could get up to Master Marksman and find out what being one was like post-CU. Methinks they're still working on the server, seems to be an old one from what I can see, or at least underpowered for what they're making it do, probably need to toss some more wood into the hopper and make sure the boiler pressure's good...

I agree with you, the massassi one seems more TK-friendly, and the blaster one seems more commando-type.

I did notice that with the rocket launcher there wasn't any 'uses remaining'. Can't imagine that being a use-forever weapon...'course, doesn't seem like the slugthrower types should be that way either, but that's just me. We don't exactly seem to have ammo worries in the game, guess they're science fiction weapons, manufacture new bullets while you use 'em

Exactly, in Star Wars you just kind of assume you have enough ammo. I don't recall anyone ever reloading... I'm just saying, visualize this if you will...

Yourself, in that new Imperial Assault armor, with a Demolitionist belt on, and a bandolier strung with grenades as well, and a never-empty equipable shoulder supported rocket launcher...

Mmmmm.... oh, sorry, what were we talking about?

Oh, yeah, the CURB. Of course, all of this will slow us down terribly; the armor slows you, the rocket launcher slows you, you'll be a slowly crawling brick of power. Or, in your case, you can shed the armor and just wear shorts and a t-shirt and get some speed back, TKM will have that advantage. I wonder if this means all Imperial Officers will have TKM in the future? Easier to wear that outfit, when you won't get insta-incapped for it.

Oh, and for my money: Give the TKAs the massassi knuckler, give us the blaster knuckler. Move Rocket Launcher to Incendiary IV, and move the flame thrower to Incendiary 2. And if they want to give us the proton carbine, god bless their hearts

(don't suppose we could give the Squad Leaders our acid rifle, in exchange for their beam rifle? No? Damn!)

Well the rail gun will be great for all those imperial patrols that march in a line.

All sounds pretty good, I love the idea of being able to go about in my own peculiar--err--particular style. I got that BE'ed melee/stun defense clothing for a reason! Even if I've no clue what the stun defense will look like post-CU, if it's not so great, at least I didn't waste too much money on the gear. And a +8 cumulative to melee defense will hopefully still be worth the cash.

And since I plan on keeping TKM until they pry my knucklers from my cold dead digits, if going without armor is viable...I can see myself going perma-combatant, and wearing my uniform everywhere. Lt. Chess Melodi, reporting for duty!

Oh, Dal, you might be interested...I heard they moved the Massassi rifle off of Commando and onto something else (Rifleman? Would make sense), maybe they'll rearrange the knucklers too, give Commando the blast knuckler, and TK the Massassi one, the way I think it oughtta be anyway. Looks like 'the CU, hard to see it is, always in motion, is the CU...'

Im pretty sure the damage is about 261 DPS since its now a Tier 5 elite.
