Assault rifle is a great idea =) E-Web at Master Commando too, which has been thrown around a lot also.. Just give it a ten-second construction time, make it stationary of course and not deployable in cities (NPC cities at least) so people don't just camp starports with them. Heck, could even make them attackable so it's a slight risk bringing it down (for the advantage that it's pretty damn powerful, if situational).

Yeah great another petition about how commandos need a new weapon. Personally we need to shut up about wanting new stuff and have a look at what is broken and needs to be tweaked first.


1) HAR Accuracy mods are still stuffed this has been broken since the start. So the HAR can be properly commpared to the flamer.


2) Changing our Tier 4 titles need to be fixed.


These two things should have been dealt with long ago but the gernal commando community just wants to see us have new toys to play or **edit** about how we got stuck with 2.5dmg mod or our dot sucks now. If our dots suck how come I can one shot storm-troopers 80% of the time with a non-kryat flamer?


Yes we have been a huge target since everyone complains about our flame dot and I am sure all the changes to dots was with flamer in front, look at AT-STs now more resistent to flame dots. This means we need to use our other weaponry like the grenades, hvy weapons and Launcher pistol.


Commandos are not a exclusive profession like the Bounty Hunter you can Master Commando and go Master in any other combat profession that comes off Brawler and Marksman as for experts in terrain and thier enviroment play a Ranger, Commandos are about straight up high end one shot damage.

Every profession needs stuff tweaked, yet they ask for new stuff too. If you want to revel in mediocrity, fine, but please dont' try to drag others' aspirations down.

I want a mobile weapon platform. Want to have a squad based commando assualt weapon. The platform can take damage, but the PC on the platform with it's machine guns can do plenty of return fire damage. Kind of like a moving turrent, but without the big armor.


PS: yeah, only a day dream. but I do like to see the HAR replaced with the assault weapon class.
