Have to say this post is a good reflection on those that have played this game a long time and while bitter over the way this game has progressed (even more so over the last 6 months) have remained level headed in their desire to better the game in the image of those that play.

I may not be a Commando, but I've been lurked on these forums on more then one occasion, and I can say right now... you've let nobody down.

And this topic has made me realize again that by now, even the little things we used to be able to count on aren't there anymore... it's like the players litterally have no say in it. Even the JEDI aren't getting what they want anymore, and if they aren't, and we aren't, they who is? The state of even Jedi has slipped a tremendous ways as they continue to become weaker and weaker, and more of what they want continues to go unanswered, and I take this as a bad sign...

If the Dev's aren't paying attention to the Jedi anymore, and they clearly aren't paying attention to us...

... then just who are they getting ideas from?

I tell you what, the latest "revamp" for Commando, and the nightmare we have ended up with is driving me close to ending as well.

god i hate this, i almost dropped commando, if it wasnt for my guild (which is new and small) who needed me for base busting, but we have been totally screwed over. I can almost never win a PvE battle, let alose any PvP battles, i see people doin huge damage, and the most powerful gun i have does half that......why doesnt SOE get on here and explain themselves every once in a while rather than doin what they "think" is right, maybe if they listened to what we have to say, its not like everyone has a different opinion, for the most part, we all agree on the same thing......lately its been how much SOE is screwing us.

Sad to see a fellow commando go, you say youll come back if they fix this game....but i dont see it happening any time soon.

Thanks for all the warm thought everyone...guess I should expect such warmness from those who consider their bestfriends a device that burns up others at range...lol...

Seriously though...just wanted to add a couple of thoughts based on the recent announcement...and this is just my own personally feelings...not suggesting anyone else considers this path...

I'm done waiting and "hoping for the best" based on what is being sold...time and time again I've heard one thing then seen another and I kept waiting and waiting for the sun to rise...unfortunately the sun has set...Now my frame of mind is SOE has to CONVINCE me to come back...If they deliver on what they promise AND it makes the current user base happy, I may come back...but my first impression of the changes is that it is totally and 100% biased towards gaining new customers and not satisfying the current customer base, so I'm not heavily optimistic on this one...

If SOE wants this Commando back they need to EARN my subscription...They know where they can find me...I through waiting based on "look what's coming"...

And does anyone recall WHY many of us feel the CU failed? It was because when the time came for testing, they rushed it out...sounds like someone hasn't learned from past historical mistakes...

Just my 2 cents...
