I unlocked Combat Prowess - Ranged Accuracyduring phase 1. But then it hit me, when im a jedi i wont need this skill. So i didnt learn it.
I dont have to learn this skill, right? Could you do every single quest andunlocking all skills (without learning them), and then choose which skills(trees) you'd like? Or if you do all the quests do you HAVE to learn allthe skills aswell?
-Thank you

No do not have learn any of the skills you unlock, and yes you could do all the quests and unlock all the skills, but then the question becomes why would you want to do so? to dothat it would take you approximately 1 year or longerto unlock all the quests/skill trees...because remember that after you have accepted a quest, you cannot do another until the phase changes....but remember to get jedi, you need 6 lvl 4 FS skills, so since you choosen the Combat prowess-ranged accuracy you might as well do it, because you unlocked it.
Take me for example...i unlocked ranged accuracy myself, and came to same conclusion you came to, i don't need this skill...however i reliezed later that in phase 3, thati had6 skills unlocked(i got 3 free unlocks) and i was planing on wait until phase 4 to unlock repair, but theni said hey wait a minute, because i have6 unlocked skills, i can be a jedi by the time phase4 goes lives, so why wait...so that what i amdoingnow...i fillingup ranged accuracy and ranged defense, and i am 4 boxes away from my glowy stick
now, instead of still waitingfor phase 4.

What effect has chosing FS skills for my later advance in Jedi?

I'm sure I'm gonna appear really retarted for asking this but do FS Skills use up Skill points... and if so,
how much do they require.
I ask becase I'm close to unlocking my FS character... I only need to complete a couple of Content Badges to get the Old Man to appear but I've been putting it off now that JTL has come out. I've been working on my char for some time and have the skills that I would like to keep pretty much set. I read earlier that you convert your experience into FS experience and then spend that on skill blocks... but how much do these skills cost so I can figure out what skills I'm going to forsake once I unlock.

When you get to Padawan the points for each skill box increase. As I understand it you can master 2.5 trees with the 250 skill points you have at your disposal. When you use all your skill points then you can enter the Knight trials.

you would have higher melee defense no matter what kind of combat you are in... i'm afraid your questions seem to answer themselves...
