Almi, he already stated that he went into excessive detail to cover his own ass from flamers saying he doesn't know what he's talking about. Rather than respond with facts when someone challenges him and sounding like he's just making stuff up, he's getting it up there in the air right at the beginning.

Oops, actually I started typing my reply before he put his up, so I missed that. I didn't realize it was an effort to explain himself with extreme thoroughness, sorry about that. I thought you were just trying to look smarter than the rest of us.


But I still stand by my words that some of the assumptions being made are not valid assumptions at all.

Which is exactly why he gets flamed, and will always get flamed. He posts his downright assumptions as if they are fact. His few assumptions in this thread are no different, except he backed them up withmore assumptions.

I've allready done that, Drach. Wether or not you choose to 'see' it, depends on how much you buy into his BS.. and obviously from your dedicated defense in his part, you're a complete lacky.

Seriously...who had problems understanding this thread? By the first page of posts, it seems like quite a few...that makes me sad. The average intelligence level of human beings may be much worse than I thought it was... /sigh


It was a pretty simple analyzation derived through simple logic. I'm not trying to downgrade it - but it is merely the solidification of thoughts presented in a structured format. No biggie. =)

Using the string theory and my flux capacitor I am able to deduct that[ 7 ^( y-9)]T *y/ (x + y ) *z =68.9435672.


Since I know the above equation is true I can tell you BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT that the CSRS do in fact know the path to becoming a jedi.

Meyree, no offense but you need to quit withpassing off assumption threads as fact. You made a thread stating you knew the path and all the secrets were revealed, yet you were'nt even sure if your assumptions were correct. I don't mind you brain storming and posting thoeries in this forum but quit acting like you have all the answers when you don't.

Jesus! Can't he do anything? THe assumptions he made here aren't even related to the FSCS per se, simply related to business\ game development models. It's just common sense. The CSR thing is a bit iffy but really... If he said the sky was blue you'd tell him "omg noob quit the bs prove it !!!111"

I wouldn't spread all this jedi information to the world because it will allow everyone else to get on track with the Jedi path thingy. Unless... You really know the exact true way to get there, and you just want to lead everyone else in the wrong direction...


Why would Meyree want to lead you in the wrong direction? The dev's have said they will control the jedi population organically. If Meyree doesnt make his FS slot before 1000 others do, the devs might change or make the FS path alot harder to follow.


When the dev posted that even the hardcore player would be lucky to get the slot within 2 more months. I realize that it would take me 4-6 months to get my jedi slot cause i am in no way hardcore. I really don't want to burst a blood vessel trying to figure out this FS slot thingy. I'm happy trying to finish all the broken quests, ROFL. Rebel theme park, =D

a little background...im mainly a crafter type/ businessman..master architect and actually enjoyed my daily harvie runs and looking for new resources ..but got kinda pulled into pve simply to stay alive when my harvies needed to be placed near some aggro mobs..here starts the story.


pistoleer was my choice nice fast weapons and plenty of vendors..hit master pistoleer and quite liked it..me and my gf (master doc/pistoleer) could look at taking down some of the more interesting mobs..nice and challenging..then a holo..master commando.


errrr..o..k..i'll give it a go


getting unarmed 4 and master marksman was soul destroying..hated it..but got there..novice commando.


Word was go up the flame line...but hey i wanted to try everything..got an acid thingy..rocket launchers..particle beam cannons.


Dear god!!! flame box 1 shot by..so did 2,3 and 4, i cant believe how powerfull this line is..my only gripe was the lack of special moves..2x single target ones and an area one,,but what the heck..nothing was safe from me.


i liked the heavy weapons ..but after 2 boxes hated them..waaaayy too slow and extremely dodgy in use..hit or miss seemed in the lap of the gods..damage the same way.


ok next im going to train acid line...looking at it..same lack of specials. Does anyone actually use this line..broken/ bugged..dunno it just sucks majorly.


grenades..please please please ..extremely dissapointed..they didnt seem to have an area effect..but gave up on using them anyway..horrible damage too.


soo i progressed with a fair amount of speed..not intentional..just it was hard not too with the flamer, boxes in the other 3 lines whizzed by and it was soo much fun.

having this much fun was a real surprise..and hitting master ..tbh didnt really mean a lot...i was just having fun..BUT.


I was doing mobs in numbers that would have made me pause at master pistoleer with out a second thought and this was only at flame four..before and after i got and dropped the other lines.

flame is a great line..the stacking dots was amazing and im sorry to see it the stacking nerf come in. flame seems to be the only thing commando has going for it..maybe if the other lines did something else other than provide some frustration it wouldnt be so bad..commando line has been dropped now..only for the fact that it whetted my appetite to try another class that before commando i wouldnt have touched with a very long stick..swordsman is my current piece of fun..or not..indications arent looking good at present but until i get master and play it for a while i cant really tell.


All in all i think commando is a fun class which is spoiled by only one line being anything like it should be..and now this is being nerfed..hope one day to return to the class, because so far, its the most fun ive had. respect to those master commando's for staying master and simply not just staying at flame four and dabbling...oh and whats with the class titles..doh!

the best post yet showing SOE what the **edit** real issues are in the game. both the total uselessness of 3 of the 4 trees and why the flamer tree was so dabbled in... which leads to this coming nerf.


now destryr, let me ask you this: If the flamethrower had no DOT, would you consider it a good weapon? Would you consider that moving the (imo) all powerful dot to be a master box capability only be a fair 'reward' for those getting the master box? Or do you think that anyone should be able to have the (imo) extremely powerful dot (even without stacking a single flamesingle2 dot will do massive damage fast) and have enough points to master 2 other proffessions?

Something that was suggested a long time ago was taking the burn dot off of the flame specials and making a master commando skill that worked like Aim but prep'd your thrower to apply a burn on the next attack and the burn amount was dictated by the dmg from the attack used.


Wasn't a bad idea, but of course it got no response. It's buried in the SWG Discussion Board with most of the other good ideas players have come up with.

Anyway I have noticed that many of the new Padawans are selecting complimentary skills to Jedi skills since the respec ends so soon and only nearly full templates are talking about what Masteries they will be taking.


This may make things very interesting, Master rifleman and a bunch of defender,or TKM and defender (talk about a tank). TKM and Powers for a ranged skill?,Healing among them all as it's far better than medic with the same points spent, Enhancer and anything ,cloak ,boom goes base?


There are MANY possibilities time to check before it's too late.
