TH says we have a new correspondent already and they're just 'completing administration' on it.

I dunno what to say.

I dropped master commando, and novice commando..and became a BH..so that the investigationline would keep me occupied till they got around and fixed commando....

Then our correspondent quit, because the devs aint listening, and aint planning to fix Commando anytime soon...

Then the BH correspondent quits because of the same issues....

So who here trusts the devs?...instead of fixing, they are nerfing, and in our situation, they were stealth nerfs, as if they proposed any of the nerfs beforehand...it would have been an uproar...

Mastersynn, you did a swell job mate, but there was nothing you could do, as the Devs dont listen to you, nor play their own game. They are following an agenda years old, with blinders on.

I can't believe that Ivoni. Who else could they have possibly picked? I know TH is a commando hater, but you'd think he'd put some thought into who the next correspondant will be. No one stands out here more than you. There's not even a close second.

*sigh*

we're all dropping down like flies. i'm nearing that area where I will resign from this game. i ignored the complaints and rants but i finally get to see it at a different light. it's just sad how slowly this game has progressed for 5 months. a waste of time is what its starting to be.

i'm sorry to see you drop as correspondent synn... soon you'll be gone from the game altogether... take care and appreciate what you did, you didn't fail the commandos, the higher force was not upon you and left you ignored.

Although i am no longer a commando this is bad news.

The melee penalty was the killer for me. I wanted to be a commando not a flame IV abuser so i worked to master commando. The penalty went live 3 days after i made master commando. 2 days ago i surrendered novice commando ....

I just dont see what SoE is doing ... with christmas coming soon they should be in overdrive.

Player cities, mounts, vechicles (yeah right) wont save this game. The powergamer holocron system wont help.

This game has great visuals ... but then again so does half life 2 ... and guess what ... its coming soon.

I guess ill have to go elsewhere to get my graphics fix.

3.5/4/4/4 BH here, and as you guys know Wepps left too. I heard in his post that the Commando Correspondent resigned as well. You know hearing what Wepps had to say and now Synn gives me little faith at all in the devs. These Correspondents listen to what we want and for the Devs to dismiss their ideas or just simply say they don't like them, not going to change that??! Uncalled for.

Thanks to everyone for your kind words. It is very frustrating to donate so much of your time and not feel like it makes much of a difference. The DEVs seem to be all talk when it comes to caring about our opinions.

All of the combat correspondents regularly submit reports detailing the issues and requests called for by members of their professions. They get no response for weeks, then Lord_Pall posts a combat update which leaves you asking "what the hell?". Every time I saw a post from Dan (Lord_Pall), I was dumbfounded. He has an agenda all his own which doesn't seem to include anything specifically asked for by the correspondents.

Anyway, I hope the next correspondent has more success butI wouldn't hold my breath. I think the correspondent system is destined to accomplish nothing because of the way it's set up. There are not enough DEVs assigned to work with the correspondents and the correspondents have no actual power. The setup is akin to having a U.S. Senate that only advised the president and had no actual legislative powers.

Hopefully, Ivoni will be offered the post. I know that there are other qualified commandos out there but Ivoni has worked long and hard to improve the profession and would make a good representative. If he does not get offered the position, I won't be surprised, however. After all, the DEVs don't seem to respect anything else we request.

In all honesty I can't see why they wouldn't pick you Ivoni, you've been here since the beginning fighting for our cause. It'd be a disgrace if you were not picked.

Right... so what makes you think he'd be picked then? That makes too much sense. That's not SOE's MO. Like George Costanza, they will do the opposite.
