Question Garvin, if you can answer it. You said we would be happy with our role, but what will that role be? Are we going to be heavy hitters, close up area damage, ranged tanks? No problem if you can't comment.

We shall see Garvin.. I do not post here often.. I watch and read alot.. and if this going to be the "Golden age" of the game they had better get it right.. because all we have been getting for a long time is the old "Golden shower".. all the while down our backs.. and have been told... "it's actually just raining"...

I am from Missouri.. ...

Ask the right questions I can try and answer best I can...While I can't disclose that information specifically I can tell you it very closely resembles what we've been pushing...

I think if we ask more specific questions, we will get more specific hints. More generic questions will get a generic hint.

We've always seen ourselves as front line heavy hitters in a combat role...So the question is, what have we been asking for to be "Heavy Hitters on the Front Line"...

And I'll throw in this little bit...even without dabbling...just beinga pure Commando...We will be able to compete in PvP...dabbling will be to "enhance" us as it was originally intended...the better you dabble the better you will do "AS A COMMANDO"...can really say more, but trust me, it will make sense soon...

If I understand your statment right, we will be more open to play different roles in the commando profession, by maybe being able to use more marksmen skills maybe even using other professions like rifleman and carbineer, instead of only the pistol benifiting professions?

You all will have much reasons to be excited for the Revamp...I'm not exagerating when I say that I see a new Golden Age possibly on the Horizon...

Keep dropping hints Garvin, we will work hard to put it all together before the big publish.

If I ever see the high-end players saying either "So which lines are you taking to compliment your Commando?" or "You might want to take this Commando line.", I'll be very happy.

"Will you have Commando with that, Sir?"

couldnt resist...

Hmmmm.....

Cryptic.

It would seem to me, that a good method of rewarding the people who choose to specialise, yet not penalising the people who choose to 'dabble' in a profession, would be to provide an option that cost x amount of skillpoints, that would allow a player to make a profession of their choice as their 'primary' profession.

Other professions would then be 'secondary', and would somehow augment the primary class, rather than having them as distinctly different skills as they are now.

I'm a little vague as this is just something that has occured to me, wot Garvin has been implying kinda sparked this in my head.

I'm quite possibly completely wrong, of course.
