It's a great bug for grinding on TC1 with. I've been killing Red Cons with BodyShot2 using a DL44.

Where are you guys at on TC anyways? I've been romping around New Unity slaughtering stuff with my CDEF's.
I hope this lasts a little while, I want to get as far as possible before it's fixed...

Garvin,
I'm almost a Master Commando, and I'm starting the path to Master Teras Kasai Artist. It is a well rounded combination that I can have a lot of fun with before I move onto bigger things...
I want to be a Jedi. I am going to start the path to being one in Publish 10.
Being that Commandos have the second highest skill point cost (tied with Combat Medics), I will only have 18 skill points left for Force Sensitive skills.
I need 24 in order to become a Padawan Jedi.
Why do Commandos have to drop skills in order to become Padawan Jedi? Every other combat class can be paired with a melee/ranged counterpart except for us. If I try to be good at ranged and melee combat, I will have to sacrifice skills along the way just to become a Padawan Jedi.
For instance, a Master Pistoleer and Master Pikemen would have plenty of skill points left over to grab all of the Force Sensitive skills they needed for Padawan Jedi without sacrificing any of their combat abilities.
I know all Jedi will sacrifice their combat skills eventually. I just don't want to sacrifice them while doing all of the Force Sensitive quests. This really aggrivates me, and it makes me wonder if I shouldn't just pick another ranged profession.
Thanks for any reply.

If these force sensitive trees give enough accuracy and defence mods to augment the commando decently I'll be back to burning thing things with my good ole Zippo (my flame thrower) very quickly. I might just pick up a bit of TKA so I can do the Knockdown/ acid stream launcher combo.

I am mostly on TC and lately I have been hanging out on Lok collecting hides for my crafter alt so he can grind out AS. I have a small abode about 1km south of NU, and Wolfmann31 (aka Arthur) alsohas a house in the area.

cross post from gcw:
What if we called the force sensitivity tree a Focus tree or something so that people wouldn't be freaking out that they're going to have to become force sensitive to compete. Hear me out...
A person who wants to be a commando can't just be a commando, he has to train a little in tka and/or pistoleer in order to make his profession competitive in pvp (or pve really). With the advent of the 'Focus' tree, the commando can dabble a couple of branches (say DEFENSE and SPEED
lol) and make his favourite profession viable on its own.
The crafters who are moaning that they are going to have to be jedi to compete - well at the moment, you need to have stacks of tapes and other skill mods to compete (ie to get the last 5-10% out of your crafted items) so what difference does it make if the poorer ones among you (take this from an ex droid engineer - the new changes made us viable but before them it was poor-city) go and do a force sensitive quest to compete with the rich guys who have bought tapes all the way up to the cap - the trade off is credits versus time (to do the quest + gain the force sensitive tree branch), which is fair and balanced.
As long as the force sensitivity tree doesn't out perform the profession dabblers (which it shouldn't due to the cap) then everybody wins. And before ppl start /jumpUpAndDownOnOverbyte for saying that jedi should be able to take out armies of normal pcs with a wave of their hands: being a force sensitive doesn't make you a jedi - Anakin was a force sensitive which gave him an advantage in podracing - something ordinary humans couldn't do, but it wasn't until Obi-wan took him as his padawan that he acutally started being über so schtum!

I don't really know why they're all complaining.
For those that aren't going to pursue jedi, Force Sensitivity = Alternate Advancement Points, something I've seen asked for time after time. Not to mention that most denizens of the galaxy are FS to at least some degree.
