Yeah, I don't know what kind PFT you have, maybe you're using a regular flamethrower. The one I have atm is just some piece I bought off a vendor and it has 960 max damage. When I get my weaponsmith to make me one with some decent tissues i should be in the 1100 range with low sac.

yea I was trying to figure out where this guy got his PFT, cause mine do way more dmg then my pistols and I got some really good pistols!

I don't think you guys get that by mezzing a crowd of people, your Jedi friends can come in and defeat an army of 20 by killin them one by one, all cause of your huge mez.
I also don't think you guys can catch an intentional overreaction when you see it

ALSO: Apparently, nobody has had this vision but me.
You're out in a field with a 65m proton rifle, you see some Jedi coming that are overt. You and your buddy are overt also, you're prone..waiting for them to get close.
(this is all assuming AoE will do full dmg)
Your buddy quickly lowers your health, you pop an accuracy food, hit last ditch, and incap all 3 charging Jedi in one shot.
Or, you could continue to argue against the proton rifle's radius, thus, pushing us back to the status that we do not have a good damage area weapon, and we're always limited to 25m.

Dakkaeo, with all due respect, not all here play SWG to be a jedi or play with a jedi. We are suppose to be a 5 in damage, on par with rifleman and swordsman. We do not like to be a utility or a backup for other professions. We want to be equally viable in our intended role as any other profession.
I can see that your examples are good for PvP but don't forget the PvE side as well.
And lastly, intentional overreaction or not, calling a community morons is in my opinion just stupid.

PS: what does "Jedi" have to do with it at all? Ok lemme rephrase: have your COMMANDO FRIEND lower you to low health, and then fire off last ditch. Is that better?
and I just said "Jedi friends" cause I have friends who are jedi. Fine. Your rifleman friends. Your artisan freinds. Your dancer friends. Whatever.

I've heard this Proton Rifle is a heavy weapon that has to be looted in a quest. Could you please tell which quest is this and where does it start?

It is a random loot drop from Necrosis who is in the very bottom of the myydril caves on kasheyyyk

I looted a Proton rifle from NK and was so happy.
Then I tried to use it, and it doesn't work AT ALL!
Thanks SOE, another great shot in the arm (foot) for the commando profession.

I did not try to flame you, I tried to explane my beef with jedi and how those in charge at SOE puts 80% of there efforts into jedi when it needs to be spread to other areas of the game.
And that is why I jumped at your "jedi friends" statement.

No problem really, id love to see some commando love. Commando needs some serious loveing, nothing else they should let us cause wounds again. Nothing like black baring a krayt or NS Elder.
