Starnick any way we can get something done about the action costs. I can get 5 shots off b4 i loose my action and have to run so i dont die. It is very close when i am 1 on 1, but when 5 stormies aggro on you and u are alone = NOT FUN. Even if you are on pixie and brandy still cant get more the 6 or 7 shots off. Any word on getting the action cost reduced??

Really, ranged attack is the most basic of attack, and should use a fraction of action cost. Specials should chew huge amounts of action, this stops u using them one after the other.

Is this not why we have timers on all specials???

My argument is, if i use a special to "root" a player in PvP, even with cooldown, the special will still be usable again, before the player becomes "unrooted". So with the addition that a special uses a huge action cost, then if i use my specials too often "liken to trying to spam specials" then i will use up all my action and leave myself defenceless. This is what ensures that you make tacticle choices.

I have won a lot of duels on TC-EP3 purely by using specials. This just seemed like spamming them.

Hmm, action costs.. Im reserved on this debate.

The idea is to stop people spaming?

So if you use 5 specials in a row, and you use up your action, then your trying to spam specials. You should just use the ranged attack, and use your specials sparingly.

If your not using specials and just ranged attacks, and your action goes in 5 shots then thats a problem.

Personally, 10 specials in a row is too many You need to be more tactical and mindful when fighting.

Doesnt matter what specials you use i can do 5 ranged attacks in a row and still end up with no action. Doesnt matter if i have a heavy weapon or a scatter in my hand (i can get 7 off with scatter). the problem is when u are alone and become aggroed by same level creature's or npc's, All u can do is wait (run) till your action comes back so u dont die. All the while they are blasting away at you. Oh and at the end of the 5 attacks your target still has half there ham.

Personally, 10 specials in a row is too many You need to be more tactical and mindful when fighting
I said 5 specials not 10 (where u pulled this number from i do not know).

Just out of curosity have you played TC lately by yourself and not grouped as a combatant??

I did say that if its just 5 ranged attacks in a row and no specials and your action has gone, then that is a problem.

My 10 specials comment was just what I thought (myself) as too many specials to pull out in a row in one complete action bar. I know your never said 10.
