yea, see thats why I feel like I should be able to "dabble" in BH and not feel bad about it. b/c BH's "dabble" in ours too w/o feeling bad or be spited by some of the BH

try master commando tka 4/0/0/3 bh 0/0/0/4
gives you ranged defense 52 melee 54 you can heal your own wounds and defense activity 56 plus the LLC

I'm not sure if it's my post that seems to have turned this into adiscussion on pistoleer skills or not, but if so then I think I need to clarify the point I originally tried to make.
Currently all commando weapons work off different mods, but as Garvin has already mentioned, after CB all these will be amalgamated into one (possibly Heavy Weapons Speed / Accuracy)... now, following the reduction in the pre-reqs for BH and *IF* after the CB it transpires that BH will also have Heavy Weapon Speed / Accuracy for their LLC, it is then that I'd be tempted to go for Master Commando and BH 0/0/0/4 to further boost accuracy and speed on our flamers.. and then with whatever remaining skill points I have pick up pistoleer 0/0/4/0 and the BH pistols line to add some versatility for the LP as a secondary weapon.
If, on the other hand, it turns out that LLC will work off a different mod to our commando weapons, thenI don't see the value in going BH for a few pistoleer specials and a weapon (the LLC) that has lesser accuracy and the same specials as our flamers.

I'm going to make a character that is Commando 0/3/4/4, Pistoleer 0/4/0/4 and BH 0/0/4/4. This gives me 3 different types of damage with heavy weapons and pretty good pistols skills. This is really just a support class that focuses on dealing heavy damage, as these classes have bad defenses.
