Well I'm lucky in the asspect that I have a seemingly endless supply of all Commando expendable's for free.

That said I use them all...

Granades unfortunatley are the least usefull, for all the reasons above. The exception I think is accuracy. I find that on a stationary target I almost never miss as a Master Commando. Naturaly I have the same problems as everyone else on moving targets, where splash dmg is non existant.I use them now for realy good combat exp on lairs while grinding my secondary combat prof.


My advise would be if you can afford them use them with caution as they will kill you.

Dont even bother if your unbuffed, HAM cost is stupid.

If you do use them for exp on lairs, use the best you can (sliced and pup'd)and dont hit the lair with anything but granades.

(STAY OUT OF BLAST RAIDUS) even tho that puts you out of range..Go figgure...

My advice

Dont use them , as stated we do more daage to are self then are target , they expencive and just not worth it

My opinion of grenades? Don't waste your money. In the unlikely event you hit your opponent you are still probably going totake more damage.


I keep thinking of Jabba the Hut, and the rest of his courtlaughingthemselves silly when Princess Liea pulls out the thermal detonator, especially since everyone knows that a thermal detonator is a commando weapon and we all know how "dangerous" we are with them. Jabba would have nothing to fear if a current commando pulled out a thermal detonator.

Grenades max range is 16 meters. Combat Medics can throw from up to 92 meters. Not to mention, Combat Medics poisions/diseases are much more potent to large groups of players and do not have a 75% damage redution.

A Commando who uses grenades is just a Combat Medic wannabe
