I'd steal the laser carbine and then I'd take burstshot and supressive fire. I'd also steal Counterinsurgency Tactics II for the state defenses.

Skills
Iwould add an AOE KD/Dizzy to Grenades because a grenade tends to do that in real life even if you weren't hit by it but were close enough to the explosion. Same with the Heavy Weapons. It would make grenades more useful for the cost of throwing even a single grenade and the small amount of damage most do in PvP.
Weapons
I liked the idea of stealing the Elite Carbine and putting the stock and scope on it (in case you don't know they tend to look M4'ish when added) making in Heavy AP Energy and making it's speed 1.0 but reduce the damage to something like 100-150 to not make it overpowered. Maybe lower the damage a bit more to keep it in line with being a really fast T21. You'll be firing that thing really fast so you can pump out more specials so lowering the damage is required on the weapon/skill that it's fired with. I have a couple of skill ideas for an assault weapons line but that may be getting off topic.

In terms of last ditch I'd rather have a weapon power core overload ability to detonate my weapons/grenades and go out with a real bang. Or for those that are suckers for punishment, Make soldiers geta morphine/PCP combo that when taken allows the commando to stay up in action for another 1-2 minutes with the negative being that any damage taken after your cap is instantly wounds which would mean a real long downtime getting patched up after that one. As far as skills I want a skill that I can use off mygrenades. Something like a KD or dizzy that would allow me to throw my nade actually ATpeople and bean them with my nadeand stun them. I know these aren't lucrativethings but they sure as hell would be funny and make me come back to commando real fast.

I would above all else take the T-21 Rifle and make these changes:
Faster (repeating rifle rather than sniper rifle...however this would NOT be needed unless if they actually made the rifle slow at master level)
Add faster fire graphic for a repeater feel
Make the weapon graphic a bit cooler (like that side-strap carbine)
Other than that...heh we got a commando weapon right under our noses...
Also add:
Ranged KD (no Dizzy to compensate)
Give me that, and I give you hell back

I'd take the T-21 from Rifleman because it would give us a fairly heavy long-range weapon and fill in an area we're severly lacking in equiment for. If any graphical mods are made to it, I'd just like to see one with a stock on it for a change, and maybe held under the arm rather than as a snier rifle when fired.
For a special I'd have to go with a variant of last-ditch attack that could be used with any ranged weapon, and it epitomizes the single, heavily damagingshots I'd like to see usget (in addition to having the highest damage modifier for an attack.) I stand by the statement that we ought to be the heaviest hitters.
Alternatively, I'd take a version of low-blow that could be used with all our weapons. Despite its lack of damage, that attack kicks butt.

No need to steal a weapon. Just change the Lightening Beam Cannon or Acid Stream Launcher to Stun Damage.
And I agree, some kind of KD/Dizzy from grenades is appropriate. Same thing with the Rocket Launcher. You ought to at least get a Stun state out of it.
Special? I like Low Blow. Drop those Melee guys down to their knees and see how effective they are.

i would steal the....DXR6b.
and for a special...well, an incinerating shot (like from jedi outcast 2...power up the gun..hit someone with it and they vapourize..its wicked!)
but if i had to STEAL a special, intimidation would be good for the FT i tihnk. (4000 degree liquid spewing out is intimidating...no wait! you can block it with your fists!)

I want to steal all the state defense, range defense, and melee defense from all the defense stackers.
We should be the one that's stubborn, and refused to be knocked down, and even if knocked down, get right back up as if nothing have happened. That's how a battle harden soldier should be.
I would steal the LLC as well, since we are the heavy weapon specialist. Heck, why not steal all the ranged weapon certs. It won't mean that we would use them well, just mean that we know how to use many weapons.
And steal the range & accuracy of the CM's throwing capability, and steal the bomb droids ability not to hurt the user.
and while we are at it, allow Imp Commandos to steal Storm Commando armor, and likewise Rebel for the rebel Commandos.

Fire Knockdown from BH and make it apply to the HAR. I know the Fire part wouldn't make sense but the HAR has a higher level of accuracy and will allow you to stick the dizzy/KD better.

Yup.... just not Intim 2 which, from what I hear, is much better.
