Space mines would be really nice, along with some heavier ordinance like concussion missles.

Great stuff! I'd like to see ships that could release 'commando pods' which go straight through shields and alow the commando to enter the ship, as for all the other ideas, they are all awesome. I want to board a star destroyer and blow it up, that's easier than using a Y-Wing isn't it?


To allow PvP on board ships is a good idea, a player boards a ship and an enemy commando boards it too, that player should have the option to help the NPCs kill that 'intruder' as it were. However, the chances of killing a commando on a starship should be pretty slim, how would you like being burnt or blasted in a tigh corridor?

i don't know about u dudes but when i hear the word commando i think of some one that is compleatly devoted to hevey wepons, cool guns, and most of all really big explosions. not juston the ground, but is space to. commando is a hybrid proffession why shouldn't we get some kind of advantage in space? (every one know we can't do much on the ground)

commandos sould be able to call in space strikes or have axcess to some kind of ultra hevey cannon in space, the capital ship bording idea sounds cool to. or maby some kind of hevy torpedo! it's slow fire rate, and consumable, and has a big boom! what more could a commando want?

Well I don't plan nopw on getting JTL, but here is something I'd like to see : Boarding armors.

"Normal" Commando should have this kind of thing, they are not meant to pilot their main transport (there is always exeption)but rather just tansfer discreetly from their ship to the other party ship.

This could be initiated only betwenn enemy (faction, guild,...) ou duelling ships;

This would also means TEF once inside the ship and a special cloning once someone is db : he can fight anymore until the ship is captured or freed.

Well something like that.

I like the boarding idea, and the dropship idea, commando's really shouldnt need to use some ultimate Spaceship pulse laser ion blaster to be useful. The marker idea is a REALLY good idea except the range should be up to 3k if the marker is destroyed, it would make it a LOT cooler if the commando party was sent off course and had to hike to the fight. If none of this is possible id settle for maybe some ground to space weaponry ie ground turbolaser batteries(no idea how it would work but it would sure be AWESOME!!!) Maybe make control of a planets surface important and keep those fighters whizzing around on their toes.

Being able to drop into a combat zone would be cool.


I also think we should be able to call in a bombing run on targets on a planet, like a ghost does in Starcraft.


Boarding other ships in space would nice too.

Remember Jango Fetts "Bass" mines?


The ones thats bass is so loud, it blows up everything, well, i say:


A master Commando has access to thoughs, cept there expendable, so when you put in, lets say, 100, once you use thoughs up, better restock.



This will also open up stuff for Shipwright or Weaponsmith.


These mines arent easy to make, thus costing lots, and i mean lots, credits.
