is anyone else fed up with all the ep 3 tie ins? Lets just continue to make this star wars game more of a fotm(Flavor of the Moment) thing. I am soooo glad this game wasn't out during EP 1, all of us would be prepubescent boys building crappy droids and racing around on our pod racers, lol.

Clone trooper armor is from the old republic. It was on its way to be the empire but was not yet. It is military surplus. There is no reason why anyone from any faction couldnt obtain the stuff. Now the empire might have a reason to restrict it in the same manner any military gear would be.
Non imperials in combat armor in an imperial controlled areashould be more likley to get scanned etc and vice versa.

Why are the rebels he red clonetrooper. They are "Shock Troopers", and are also the Emperors Personal Legion
Blue Clonetroopers are "Spec Ops Troopers" they are also Anikins Personal Legion he uses to attack the temple.
I don't remeber what the green troopers were.

HERE is a screenshot of all three (copied from expansions forum)
it seems only the quest givers wear these armors, and that they reward something else.
THERE IS NO PROOF THAT THESE ARE USABLE OR OWNABLE BY PLAYERS AT ALL.
if you want to know the actual quest rewards, head over to the expansions forum and look at clone trooper thread.

These armor sets are setup as "wearable for PC's".
If these were NPC's, they would have their own full model, not these sets of 10 peices.
If you look in the files, you will find the scout trooper as a model with it's own textures. But also, under "wearables" you will find each individual armor piece, thats made to fit players.
Another "proof" of this, is the lil thing, that they also have female versions. they dont do that to NPC troopers.
Just look at the "cyborg arm" that people claimed were bogus..then was on melichae(?). We kept saying that it was also made for fitting player characters, but no one believed us. Now we're getting cybernetic arms, legs and torso.

I guess I'm the only one looking forward to ROTW, I really enjoy ep2 - ep3 time frame. I've been reading a few of the novels bases inbetween this time. Very enjoyable, I almost like the novels more then I like the original movies. More characters. I love the idea of the council and how everything is going arry. Plus I like how there adding some new armors and stuff from the ep3 movie, anything they add for more content is more then they have in game now so I wouldnt complane. It would be nice if they added planet hoth as adventure planet, and just be a bigg battle field like kessel in space. Would be fun

Looks like the Clonetrooper Armor from Ep.III.
The $ellout to the prequels continues at a faster speed now. Rampant Jedi, Jedi Starfighters, ARC-170s, Droid Fighters, Droidekas, SBDs, and on, and on, and on. These individual things will be more numerous than AT-STs or AT-ATs and TIEs.
So, when are they going to delete Luke, Han, Darth Vader, etc.?
