LordS...please re-read TH's responses...do you see anywhere in his posts that he is giving us anything...do you see anywhere in there where he and the dev's are open to negotiation or do you see that he is just telling us "this is the way it is and the way it is going to be..."

The 2 top priorities (in this order) should be:

1) Stop the changes from going into place...

2) Offer up solutions to fix the problem...

Until #1 is satisfied, there is no point to #2....if they aren't going to listen then what's the point...They are making these changes based on NO feedback from us, the profession the changes effect the most...

TH's post illustrate my point perfectly...He has heard about a problem via whines....He tested the issue with a Dev friend by just making themselves Master Commandos...And they came up with a solution on their own...where did we weigh into the equation? Did you know these changes were being proposed before they were posted? Did you have a chance to give them any feedback before they decided this is the route they were going?

This is EXACTLY why MasterSynn quit as our Correspondent...He felt they didn't listen...You should go back and re-read his goodbye bost before you stand up for them...

Please explain to me why if our flames don't stack anymore why FE's are being introduced? I can see one or the other happening but both? Just doesn't make sense.....

Oh well, guess I'll reconsider that job at Kinko's again with my Heavy staple rifle.

Bah, I was a holo-commando, but really liked it and intended to stay, but it seems like all hte Dev's answer to things are "It will be better when we rebalance the comabat in APRIL" yeah so screw it, I'm leving the comabt scene until this big balance comes into effect.

Yes, at times, the flame dot was a bit too much WHEN IT ACTUALY landed on an opponent with no armor, no buffs, and who isnt attacking us , ( right.. hugely over powered... ) but nerfing the only thing we can sort of use is being taken away to have nothing left that makes Commando a viable proffesion. No, it does NOT need to be nerfed just caus some idiot kids fight stupid and get within 16m...

wait, isnt it funny how our flame specials have LESS range than ( 60 foot lunge, , 20m )TKA attacks?

There was a good thread in the GCW forum asking folks which profession was most feared in PvP. When I read thru it, there were over 100 responses and Commando was mentioned if I recall correctly...twice. People were even laughing at the unfortunate "n00bs" who said Commando. Go over to that thread and mention how much you fear us mighty Commandos and how happy you are that we're nerfed. You don't have to take our word for it... let the PvPers in that thread tell you how "feared" we are.

I'm sorry to say, but that is a very ignorant post not looking at the issues surrounding the DoT...

The Flame DoT is not to powerful...The related BUGs and stupid players make it look too powerful...anyone who makes a post like yours deserves to be laughed out for not examining the issues...

Currently one of the biggest complaints about our Flame DoT is that once someone is Incapp'd by it, they get immediately incapp'd again once they try to get up...this leads to a 3rd incapp and death...this is a BUG!!!! The Burn timer is suppose to start over when the incapp timer ends, but instead the Burn hits immediately when the person tries to stand back up...of course it looks too powerful...it's not suppose to work that way...Fix the BUG...don't nerf the weapon...

If there was an ingame BUG that allowed CDEF rifles to one-shot kill someone in game if the person stood exactly 13m away from their opponent, would you NERF the CDEF or fix the bug that causes the issue?

Other people complain that the stacking of the Burn DoT is too much...but with our delay timer and our range restriction, we have to earn the right to stack...we have to last long enough to stack...this is a feat in itself...so again...not an issue, just someone whining...

And those that complain they can't put out the DoT...well that's too bad unfortunately...the Dev's need to come up with a way outside of a fight to put out the DoT...as I've suggested, I wouldn't care if the my DoT I placed went out when my opponent DB'd me...it should be automatic...or allow the Fire Extingisher to work only outside battle like other med kits the average person can use to stop bleeds, disease, etc...in battle the Flame DoT is our best strategy...so if you let me place it, you have to deal with the penalties that arise from your carelessness...

To even suggest the DoT is too powerful based on any of the above is ridiculous...And anytime someone flaunts ignorance like that I laugh at them as well...
