Thread: Beam Rifle?

No it is a rifleman gun, the commandos have somthing else that is very similiar. We just can't use the rifle because of a broken or lost cert. Sort of like the republic blaster only ours hasn't been "fixed" yet. All they are useful for now is having an odd looking gun or mantlepiece.

Thanks for all your information, I could craft them and they were classed as a rifle but they are obviously not certified yet, if i am right then everyone has the cert for republican blaster dont they?

I was shopping around for a good T21 and I found a Beam Rifle.
It looks exactly like the Acid Beam Rifle for commandos.
Stats were something like 150-380, 3.6, energy
I checked the rifleman, bh,and commando trees and there aren't any certs for it. Has anyone else seen this rifle or know anything about it?

it's a commando weapon, or rather it's supposed to be, but the cert doesn't exist

Beam rifle is a commando weapon, but there is no cert in game for it atm.

you sure its commando? i thought it was rifle w/ no cert

it WAS commando, back in beta or something, but they pulled the cert but did not pull the weapon. So it's just a weapon that's been around for 8 month that no one can use, kind of like how the republic blaster was before they fixed it a couple of month back and added a cert to everyone lol. Well tuesday it's being moved to novice pistoleer btw if you didnt know.

the funny thing is that it gives you rifle exp when used... i tried one when i was on the road to mastering rifles... think i got 1 exp for killing a meatlump, just to try the weapon out...

Whats the deal with the "Beam rifle"? I bought one of these from the local weaponsmith last night and apparently not only do master riflemen not have certification for it, neither does marksman. I even checked commando. I couldn't find the cert. anywhere. I looked at it and its not a "variation of" anything, its a rifle. Anyone know if they plan to give us a cert for this thing or what? Its not even good...
