I think Garvin could do the job, question is would the devs listen or ignore him like our other 2 correspondents? Not to mention even though that is a preliminary road map and subject to change, the fact that there isno mention of any profession revamp or combat balance bothers me. I mean if there was like a line "Look at certain combat classes for revamp", I would be encouraged. But as I see it now, it looks like nothing for 3 months or more. Looks like there counting on fluff(ie dungeons) to hold us gamers, but that is simply not enough for me. I think I will quit the game and more on to more promising mmporgs.

Seriously, no one has asked garvin to step back down when LordS returns, hes just offering on his own, its a noble gesture.
We have two great advocates on this forum, Garvin is one, Maddogs is the other.
No disrespect in the slightest to Maddogs, but at times the fact that English is his (I believe) fifth language makes some of the points he's trying to get across slightly difficult to comprehend.
Garvin therefore gets my vote as well

LordS had been a good help to all commandos. We may still be a mess of a profession, but LordS put his back into it and tried. Our woes are not due to him. It's appreciated. I can't imagine the state we'd be in now if we had a voice that wasn't as loud or as good as LordS.
As for the next correspondant, i don't think there's any confusion or decisions to be made. Garvin is it. Everything he posts is very well thought out and perfectly clear. There's no gray area in his statments and his ideas are always worth some thought.
He's gonna give the designers fits.
