Actualy I do like the effect it has in PvP... has worked to my advantagea fewtimes. I would perfer to retain the graphic.

How about an option where you could just turn off all the partical effects? If your concerned about groups this is your best bet any way... thought it means that things like waterfalls vanish also. They cause huge lag for groups also actualy so best if you just turn all partical effects off.

Besides it just looks neat. =)

I like it as it is. You don't have to see a thing but the groupbars in battle and targets you just tab.

It adds that armageddon feeling to battle and all I grouped with so far have more positive things to say then negative.

Only reason to tune it down would be for the low system users FPS. But thats not a good enough reason, at least not for all of us that bought new machines to be able to play this game on full settings.

Its cool when someone rips out one when rebels are attempting to take theed and fire and stuff starts blowing up, people running away in fear of their lives and metor showers hitting the groud and massive turtles and rancors running around while storm troopers and and and .. *ahem* please excuse me.

There just plain needs to be a toggle. The best situation is a toggle that only the Commando using the weapon can control. That way, if you get into a PvP fight and you want to use the ol Lag Launcher to confuse and generally screw with your enemies..you can.

But I agree, we should be able to tone it down for the sake of groups.

Why are you guys complaining about the LP? O I can't see past the CH's giant turtle...Lets make it smaller. ...how about the size of a peanut?

They just need a means of toggling it on/off like someone said before...a way to tone it down some for those that can't handle it...

doesn't apply to me ...the LP doesnt cause my any lag whatsoever and I love the smoke and fire and explosions and particles all flying around

Yeah, they need to be toned down. I was in the Konga caverns on dantooine and everybody was telling me to stop throwing grenades, of course grenades suck ass so it was really my launcher pistol, in a dungeon you cant see anything when it fires.

the only reason some of us became commandos is because thier guns shot forth a "GIANT EXPLOSION OF HELL FIRE AND APOCALYPTIC DESTRUCTION." i like eye candy, just as much as all the people who send me tells every time they see me fire the thing. there is just no denying that the launcher pistol is the coolest gun in the game (how many pistoleers get tells like, 'omg! what is that thing' 'oh this? its just a dx2'), yet some people want to remove what makes commandos very cool. i swear to god, my launcher pistolhad better never spew forth a salvo of firecrackers that result ina little fizzling puff of smoke. i want to shake screens and create fire. as far as i knew, commando was the only way to do it. i've been a commando for 3 weeks, and every time i shoot my lp i still think to myself, '**edit**, that was cool.'

oh, and i still get tells from my bounty hunter friends wishing thier scatter pistol was half as cool looking as my launcher pistol.

add a graphics option to turn it off. that way the people who want explosions get them and those who don't want the screen shaking every 2 seconds get their way too. it would also cut down on the "hey, it's fun to duel with launcher pistols you aren't certified for in the med center/cantina" duels too.

what they need to be is have an option, there should be an option that says "heavy weapons graphics: high; medium; low; off" that way, for those of us who love the graphics and dont get lagged by them can enjoy them, while others can turn them off because they are a pain in the arse to them....

Being a fan of the great actor and future gov of cali Arnold I love the big huge explosions. Especially the miind blowing earth shaking tremors.

Control+Q is my new best friend (cycles through peeps in your group) so I can heal them. I don't mind it at all. Heck people I have grouped with keep on sayin, "Wow man thats cool!" or "What the hell is that!"

One time there were 3 dudes attacking a lair. I stormed in and started to bus shiz up. Instead of being yelled at the other 3 dudes stopped.. and began cheering me and clapping while I ripped all them gorgs up! When a gorg glutton appeared it was close.. but in the end I prevailed.. with pretty explosions to boot!

Lucky for me I have an elite profession that can "deal" with the might gorg glutton!

Note: Unlike quite a few fellow commandos I refuse to go pistoleer.Its still fun but I can't wait for the fixes coming up!

PS: The only thing better than being a commando is GOING commando! FOSNEEZY
