Thread: Launcher Pistol: Graphics need to be toned down...
. It's really annoying after a few 100k of Heavy Weapon Exp.
just need an option to tone it down, easy as that. next correspondant needs ta tell da devs this.

I love this attitude...if you don't like it don't group with Commandos and if you are a Commando why care? Because Medics can't see you in the group Khyzer, and if they cant see you and cant tell how far away they are then people die needlessly. And you cant see W.T.F. is going on in the group when we use this pistol. I can't see if mobs add, I cant see what other members of my group are doing and it's overall annoying as hell. I'm sorry if you solo all the time but I am a little less anti-social than you are. I enjoy grouping and I enjoy not having my PA tell me to put the frigging Lag pistol away because nobody can see W.T.F. is going on.
And yes, while you can hit TAB to change targets you have almost no depth perception (You can't accurately tell how far away you are from someone) and in a big fight that is a BAD thing. I'm not asking that the pistol itself be toned down, just that the rediculous particle explosions and smoke be removed or seriously toned down.
The Launcher pistol is supposedly our "Main" weapon, I'd like to be able to use it in a group atleast...
It's not just a group problem, I have a problem with the graphics when I solo to. I keep another pistol handy so I don't get killed inthe heat of battle because I can't see but even then it takes a few seconds for the smoke and fire to clear. I've died on more than one occassion because i couldn't see. I try using the map but the bright colors make it hard to see.
