well some one better say something to that effect! at least something like YOU hit so and so for 4030 damage but he does not catch on fire.

no matter how you dress it up it is still another nerf to commando!
again we have gained nothing

I thought we were trying to improve our Dot?
Aren't we trying to drop our delay too?
Maybe we should use reverse psychology. From now on ask SOE to please make our DoT weaker, and add 30 seconds to our delay. Maybe that will make them give us our DoT back, and remove our delay.

Maybe the devs plan on fixing the Jedi so they can't block flames.

All of you fail to see what SOE wants commandos to actually be.
The "real" role of commandos is meat shield. We're expendable, just like our weapons. We sacrifice ourselves for the well-being of our comrades. We're tanks, without the "tank" defenses or skills. We aren't supposed to do damage, we're supposed to TAKE damage. They coded that part of commando right, cuz I take a LOT of damage.
Put it all together & it makes sense:
1) High level creatures/NPC's are VERY high heat resist.
2) Only working non-consumable weapon is heat damage.
3) Must be in melee range to use specials.
4) Unarmed pre-requesite.
All I'm waiting for now is official word from a dev stating "Working as intended"

OK this is going to get some hate from Garvin but does any one see him to uplifting and accepting of things to come? Just another leak in the boat? HAHAHHA my friend Ive been using all my fingers and toes to plug the other leaks this one is about the last ot sink us.
I think they are all going to go talk to the devs didn't he say they were flying them all out there?
The real reason is to finish the Brain washing process so they become all yes men.

Dont forget that TH has been saying that commando will be the most changed proffesion in the combat revamp. He knows they cant drop the ball on commando about this because c.revamp has been thier only real answer to us, and should they fail horribly, they would just say "well sorry, but you didnt give us enough info to know what you wanted" or some bull like that.
Its real sad when a lot of the player base doesnt have any trust in the game makers.
As for my opinion for the flame dot stick.... meh, I jumped ship few days ago and it feels good to know I wont be affected from nerfs to a proffesion ( not commando ) that ends up nerfing commando even more

Well I am dropping commando until it gets some much needed fixes. It won't be too hard to get back. It saddens me though cause I've been a commando since the launch of this game. I just can't continue to play a 163 Skill Point broken profession that continues to get nerfed w/o any fixes. Way to go Dev's! At least those damn CM's got nefed too! They have ruined GCW PvP.
