Hrm... well I've yet to see bleeds affected by armor, so i see no reason why our flame DoT should be too. Once again... if you dont like me scorching you to a crisp STAY THE HELL OUTTA 16m, or better yet, don't PvP.

If you come to a PvP fight, you know what you're getting yourself in for, if you get wounded along the way, its your own fault for jumping into the fight in the first place.

As far as nightwolf, I've seen him work hehe, I've even seen some friendly rebels complaining about him, not cause he uses a flamethrower on them, but because he had a faction pet that caused disease, and they didnt like the wounds from that. Are we gonna nerf them too?

I had a faction pet that caused disease? -Catches you in a strangle hold- **edit** YOU! TELL ME WHAT IT WAS OR I SHALL BURN YOU INTO A THOUSAND BILLION ZILLION LITTLE umm those tiny things you can't see without a micro scope... YEAH THOSE! Wait it wasn't my green booger beasts was it? Swamp troopers just use glop grenades, I could use them, but I doubt you would complain about my pet if I did!

Dumbass, neither can I. Most commandos like it as it gives us a reason to drop the ft and do something diffrent for a change. Adds flavor. I just can't wait till they fix grenades so I can disease the CMs with my new found glop grenade weapons! mwahahahahaha.

Again with the realism. Have you actually RAN anywhere with a flamethrower spraying out infront of you? So how would you know what happens to the fire?

Take a hose turn the water on use the JET option and run around the yard spraying everything, do you get very wet? Not bloody likely. Only as wet as you would standing still. And what little moisture does wet your body would have been evaporated liquids and non-existant long before it touched you. Also if its a ball of fire, why does it explode? This suggests that something is inside this ball of fire which creates the illusion that its a ball of fire. How can you shoot a friggin ball of fire 64m smart guy? Answear THAT one! You CANT! unless it was something BURNING (or we somehow learned how to fire pockest of flammable gas in a concentraited ball, which actually seems like its possible...) In any event YOU try useing one of our grenades at point blank range, real enough for you? Smart ass.

Aaah, the pet used glop grenades lol, I just remembered riding into theed one night and getting a tell "Alex is diseasing everyone with his faciton pet please kill him."

LoL I'm a commando, not an assassin hehe, like I'm really going to be stupid enough to pick upa TEF in theed hehe.

I wish it were easier to get grenades hehe.

HAHAHA, I bet a CM begged you to kill him. Come on the rebel CMs there were diseaseing corpses, and they bitched about my pet useing **edit** ty grenades? I should bring some player crafted grenades to theed and see how they like 1k-3k damage with diease splashed onto them. Like I said I bet if I used my glops they wouldn't be complaining about the pets....

I do not think the FT needs any adjustment at all.

I have been dueling a fair bit with other professions and combinations (mainly because pvp is one sided where i play my commando) and with the downgrading of the damage in pvp the FT is not anything special. Sure, the target you light up will end up with alot of wounds, but every man and his dog is at least part medic and can deal with them.

The dot never decides the battle, it has consequences after it is over. It is a very good tactical weapon because it prevents people just getting up and rampaging, it slows people down a little. Any really, the chance of hitting a moving target that is within 16m is pretty low.

The new uber profession where i play is the TKA/Doctor who is mega buffed without relying on drugs and when they engage us in melee we drop like a bag of spuds. Their ham is double to tripple ours, they can heal all their wounds/action with one heal and we take ridiculous damage when wielding any of our weapons.

The damage we inflict with the FT in pvp is only problematic to noobs. Get some food, get some drugs, get some buffs and be ready for those short fights. Once the fight is over you can deal with the wounds.

Changes to pvp made it so fights last alot longer, the commando's real strength was to take people out fast because anything that gets close to us prevents us from using the heavy weapons, now that damage levels are alot lower it is harder playing a profession dependant on quick damage.

We have no knockdowns, no stuns, no dizzy, no defenses, no nothing. All we have is the inaccurate specials which do damage, very close range one. If you cant deal with that then its a player problem, not a mechanic problem.

I think that whoever said we should have high accuracy with our flamethrower specials was saying that if your within 16m of someone spraying a blast of liquids with say a garden hose and spray nossel. You are going to get wet no matter what. Same if you try to block or dodge such a blast of liquids. Its just impossible due to the nature of the flamethrower. While for balance issues I don't think we should hit everyone 100% of the time. We should have a hefty bonus to hit though, which I think we do. BUT I think we should be able to either hit all or none of the targets when useing RLs. If the rocket explodes on impact and your standing next to it your going to get fragged, but if the rocket misses then it most likely will veer wildly off course and explode harmlessly instead. Grenades would either hit for full damage, or have their damage and blast radius reduced if it misses. While a grenade won't always hit dead on, it WILL always land somewhat close to the target, and therefore always damage the target at least a little. I don't know if the devs could implement such a system, but hey anythings better then the stuff we deal with now.

Well, it's obviousl to me that there are a grand total of ZERO people on the dev team with actaul military experience.

As for the FT, I like the massive wounds. But I'd live with the flame DoT going away after incap if ALL DoTs went away after incapp.

And technically, napalm burns in water. Varies greatly with the mixture. Ifit's Jellied JP4 or diesel fuel, nothing short of a complete lack of O2 will extinguish it.

What I want to see are phosphorous grenades.

Please Devs give us some more nerfs. Because you just know CM, TKA, Riflemen, etc, are extreamly under powered. We commandos are just to ubber.

Our havey acid rifle has no armor pierce yet the Dx2 pistol does. Makes sense to me. Gernades, Rocekt Launchers, and the rest of our "special" weapons cost more ham then they do damage to target if they hit. Again... Makes sense to me.

I love it. Keep up the good work Devs please. Ooops guess you have not done any work with commando. My bad. Again thank you for all your NOThard work you have done for commandos.
