I actually believe that I get alot less loot when using my Flamethrower, and when I get it, its usually inferior to what I get with my VK.

I dunno if its just luck of the draw, but I spent months on/off at Tusken, killing thousands of them, and got 1 crystal. I then leveled TKM there (In 3 days, before the recent crystal patch), and I got at least 2 crystals and like 4-5 varios clothing/armor attachments, including some that were already on boots.
