Currently there is not a class that uses this weapon. Given the crafted weapon's stats, I'm guessing that this is a Rifleman weapon, somewhere around Expert/Master Rifle skills. However, it's among the non-certed 0 Ideal range weapons at current, so the only point in crafting one would be a display piece.

What is the deal with the Beam Rifle, it's not a commando weapon because it a ranged weapon, not a heavy weapon and when I equipped one I could use it to do rifle specific special attacks however, when I equip it, I recieve a message saying I'm not certified to use it even though I'm a rifleman and a master marskman. Does anybody know where the Beam Rifle is certified? I'd like to know because they look cool and can have some pretty good stats.

Is the exact name "Beam Rifle?" Usually all Beam weapons are Commando weapons. Maybe if you make a Rifleman/Commando you can use your specials with it?

It's not one of the Beam Cannons is it? Because THAT is a Commando gun.

From the aesthetics of it I imagine it's intended to be for commandos.

Yes, anything ending in "Cannon" is a Commando weapon. But there is no weapon I know of specificly called the Beam Rifle unless the Weaponsmith renamed it. Check the specs to see what type of weapon it is a variation on. Most likely Beam Cannon.

Nope, its deffinetly called "Beam Rifle" I saw one myself. I think it was even classified as a Rifle. And I saw it in a Rifle vendor...along with the Laser Rifle, and I think an E11.

Yup ive seen this rifle, and its not a commando weapon, its called "Beam Rifle" and the model looks exactly like the acid cannon but it shoots red lasers

Where might I acquire on of these beam rifles? never seen one. I've seen beam cannon... but never beam rifle. on the other hand, i know for a fact that beam rifle would have to be a commando weapon since the novice commando gets "cert rifle acid beam."

Same here, I've got one of these mystery Beam Rifles. I think it was forgotten, and it's not binded to any Profession.

No where on any skill tree is it listed, not Commando nor Rifleman.

I'm very interested in where it's proper home is. Rifleman I hope!
