One question Meyree... to what end was this post created? Im sure you wouldnt go through all this trouble, and I'm sure it took a good bit of time, for no reason. Where does this stuff fit in?

The way I see it, we need more people involved on these boards... this sort of thing might let people know that they can post any info they get (and I'm sure there's a few out there, say, who have recieved CSR hints as you mentioned, but don't go to these forums) but getting them here in the first place is the hard part.

The fact that some are not does not rule out the possibility that some are.

Good arguments meyree. The only problem I see with them is there is an asumtion that devs/SOE management/board moderation is logical. Most people are not, why should they be different?

"Your request is currently being processed"

... God I hate that ...

Anyway, yes I was basically covering my butt from flamers from the get go. Yes, to be thoughtful.

Alot of folks lately are worried the devs are changing something whenever we start gettingclose. I even worried about it at one point. Others are worried posts are being deleted. Those who have recieved hints, for the most part, are afraid to come forward with them due to the enormous potential of being flamed for it.

The ends of the post is basically to show there is no reason for them to change the system or delete posts, and that those who have recieved hints here and there should not be afraid to come forward with them. Of course, saying that will draw a fake or two, plus there will always be flames it seems, but people shouldn't be afraid to come forward with info due to a fear that the devs will delete their post or change something.

The Rational Limitation clause is only meant to demonstrate that it is not possible to have an infinite number of paths. For this reason, either some parts will be common among all, or there is a set range of possible paths related to character data. The reason the formula is provided is to show that unless every variable involved in defining and executing the path is 1 or 0, there are unique paths numbering in the hundreds of thousand at the very most.

The presence of such a staggering number of possible paths creates a need for a system which defines the path for each person. This is posted to illustrate that we should be determining what possibilities there are to define the path while playing the way each of us does along the way.

Let's say Guy 1 and Girl 1 both unlock the FSCS, but nothing they have done in game is the same. Let's say a bunch of people follow in their footsteps, and two more unlock the slot. Identifying the similarities between the characters should come before determining exactly which actions unlocked it, when this happend.

If the devs' expected time for Jedis to appear is accurate, we're getting close to the first FSCS opening.

Also, this thread is a simple post of observations. The meanings and ends behind this information that I intended is not the only application or interpretation of it, I would assume. Basically, take it for what it's worth to you personally 8)

My hope form this thread is that the FSCS seeking community relaxes a little bit 8) Big brother (devs) may be watching, but I don't think they're going to interfere as much as many of us have believed they will

Ok, so you've realized that the devs won't censor our Jedi revelations because that would be counterproductive to their cause. There, I've said it in one sentence!

Only thing worse than an elaborate poster is an elaborate flamer.

I think this jedi thing is going to need an elaborate explination. Instead of "har har I did stuff now I'm a jedi"

Oh, by the way, someone made the remark that I always have been and always will be flamed. That has nothing to do with me. That is simply because some people have decided that regardless what I say or how I say it, they will flame simply because it is me saying it.

I don't get flamed for what I write or how I write it, really. I get flamed because I have the cohones to do what I believe is right at all times, and I also have the cohones to present my thoughts to the world.

In short, I've come to a point where I've realized when you have the guts to stand up and say what you have to say or do what you feel is right for you to do, there will always ALWAYS be someone who doesn't like it.

To those who have said such things as "you think you know the inner workings of SWG" or "He either posted it to be thoughtfull or to show he's smarter than us" I say give it up. Your attempts to flame me will never, not in a million years, change anything about me or what I have to say. Matter of fact, it won't even change how I say it.

To adress the "inner workings" comment. Yes, those equations are part of the inner workings of SWG because they are part of the inner workings of every program from ever programming language.

To adress the "smarter" comment; no I am not. Every individual excels at one thing or another, and every individual have varied knowledge of various things. Just because I happen to know a little bit about some of the things that apply here, does not mean anyone is smarter than anyone. Put me in the driving seat of game development, and I'll excel. Get me out in a garage trying to repair cars, and I'll get owned by many who are better at it than me. That smarter comment is incredibly immature.

Also, I never took a CS course yet. Those equations were derived from reversely calculating variable space limits from gnu C++, Microsoft C++, Dark basic, RPG, C#, and VBA. Arriving at those equations and testing their accuracy was something I did alone with good ol' fashioned paper, pen, and math. It was actually two years ago that I determined those equations, and they have come in handy a time or two 8)

To the fool calling me a lackey:

I am certainly no such thing. I believe that this mystery will only be unlocked by the combined brainpower of many intelligent people, and if you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem.

You, sir, are part of the problem. You did not provide evidence as to which assumptions you are talking about (and in my semi-educated opinion, all of the assumptions he made are reasonable enough to be called fact for the most part, unless SOE follows very unorthodox and inefficient business\programming\development models) and do not state why you believe his response to be BS. Please. Dont be mad just because people listen to him and not you, which seems to be why a lot of people flame him.

I don't see why it is that people can't agree with hisgoals and some of his beliefs towards that end(I dont necessarily agree with all of him) without being his female dog, so to speak, or why people cannot wish to work with him, notfor lack of individual intellect, but for the purpose of combined intellectual power, and again not be referred to as his bitch.

And I thought Meyree wasnt the self-riteous type.... You certainly laud yourself for your previous posts.

I have to say, its all just speculation until someone at SOE confirms a FSCS has been opened... If and When this happens is another question entirely.

Hollis, other than the hermit, I don't really have one set theory at the moment. I see alot of good ones on these boards, and the hermit thing I think is only a part of it, if involved at all. We won't know until someone finishes it.

Since it turned out I was "looking in the wrong direction" regarding the nobles, I've been tryig to investigate as many theories at once as possible. I will concentrate on one, and not move on to another until either something gives, or it becomes aparent nothing is going to happen.

Once you believe 110% you have it, and it turns out you're wrong, you don't really want to commit yourself to any one idea, because to do so is to set yourself up for disappointment.

That having been said, the nobles missions are interesting, and I believe they do lead to something bigger, but I still haven't gotten past step 3... Really, I've been so busy elsewhere I haven't gotten a chance to investigate all my ideas on that.

There's still work to do on the site, and posting hasn't really begun, but the domain is www.FSCSI.com

There's still a message board or two that will be added soon, and there are charts that I will be posting soon, as well. Also, I will be posting the finalized launch roster tommorrow (Saturday, August 23), as well as sending out messages to all our members 8)

PM me with FSCSI in the subject and your server in the message body to be added to the roster 8)

Drachinthor, thank you

To the one who made the self righteous remark:You obeviously didn't read the first post. This thread doesn't even contain a theory regarding unlocking the FS slot.

Please, people, if you choose to flame that's your business, and whatever comes of that is between you and the mods. Just if you're going to flame, take the time to read the post you're flaming. I mean, otherwise, you're doing absolutely nothing other than spouting angry mush. Really, this isn't the place for that. At home, with Korn playing in the CD player (first album, BTW), is the place to vent frustration
