Commando Archive

I've never had a problem with stackin DoTs, but then again, I've never tried to stack more than 2 at once (I just use Flamesingle2/Flamecone1, haven't mastered Commando yet for flamecone2). And ever since I've got to 2/2/4/0 Commando, I've felt Uber compared to those other professions. Then again, those other professions can't kill Mountain Squill in 2 shots, I can.

If you are are talking about hunting no one can match the commando for dmg. Flame Cone 2 plus dot with 110% accuracy at Master is just ruthless. If you stand right you can kill a whole lair full of whatever and take very little damage. Oh yeah it helps if you buy armor to absorb the damage you take in between shots.

In pvp, you can win unless you get KD'd or dizzied, just never fight in a place where you can't move. Banks are good places to duel. FlameSingle2, move around the bank, wait for the next time you can shoot and pop out..IF the DOT didn't already kill the person..now he has two. It doesn't matter that you couldn't shoot for 5 secs, cause you couldn't get hit either.

All professions have their strengths and weaknesses, figure out what yours are and adjust accordingly.

If you don't like the commando life, choose another profession.

Maddog sure most other proffesions will out damage us against a single low HP target, but we outdamage in groups of large HP targets.With me and a medic, Ive dropped about 5 Mutant rancors at once, caue all we do is flamecone 1, run, flamecone 2, run, then start using the HW, and any damage i get have the medic heal. We arent meant to be huge damage doers, but we are meant to be supplmenters to other peoples damage. and about our dots getting nered, wait until that happens to worry about it.
