i really hope people didnt stuff the ballot...because i was looking (when there was like 50 or 60 posts) and there was SO many firebats and marines...im supprised those didnt win :-/

My geeky history side has to step in here ladies and gents.The name Grenadier comes from the royal british gaurd. It started with Charles the first. I don't know if they still call them that though. Grenadiers are known for having used a rifle, since there were very few in the 16th century, and being excellent swordsman. Their most distinguishing feature was the giant conehead hat that is part of their uniform. I kid you not. I hear grenadier, and I think big, dumb hat.

I don't care what it means to some other country this is america. Grenades...Grenadier...you still call someone who uses a rifle, and rifleer. A pistol expert is called a Pistoleer. It fits, let it be.

Looks perfect to me. Although, something about the thought of wearing the title Man-at-Arms just got my blood burning for battle. Maybe I just watched to much Heman when I was a kid.

But yes. Marine sounded extremelly cool to me. I always like the Rifleman tree's Soldier, or the Carbineer tree's Mercenary. It was so simple yet so fricken sweet. =]

Well even if people vote for those title it doesnt mean it the majority choice.. so maybe dev will do totally different..

For me I won't show any of those title... Specialist are just plain title..

yeah I like "Marine" also, take the Grenadier stuff out

will these new titles actually take affect. There have been many votes in all porfessions for small changes such as these, however they have never taken affect.

Firebat was a good one, that should still get suggested to the Dev's... i'd feel proud to run arund with that under my name.

Chemical Warfare Trooper made sense due to the naming of the Chemical Warfare Expert that the Combat Medic has.... thats logic there...

I would like to see both of those thrown in as honorable mentions to the Devs. As it is now i don't feel pride with any of the Commando titles, i feel more pride wearing Novice Artisan than anything Commando under my name... Just my $0.02

So you're saying if Firebat was chosen, then american people would expect commando's to turn into a bat-on-fire whenever they choose that title?

Also I think you will find you don't have a Rifleer but a Rifleman.

I'm actually English and I find that quite offensive, you probably were joking but what if I had said something offensive to Americans? I would probably be kicked out of this game.

And yes the Grenadier Guards are those guys with the huge black hats made of Bear Skin, and I agree they do look stupid, but's it all about tradition.

I personally like the titles, even though 3/4 were the ones i voted for...
