Sharrnies are high diff pull missions you need a CH or an at-st in the group let the fun begin
Uhm. I Solo'ed these bastards since I reached Flamethrower 4 with a 80% kinetic armor. If you jump hapily trough the field shooting Durni rabbits in your bone armor and take on Sharnaffs then its just stupid to engage them ![]()
Believe me, CH or AT-ST is NOT required to kill sharnaffs...

quenkers and baz nitches (regular ones, not large. same xp, more creatures per spawn) are probably the best source of xp youll have after you get flame 3. quenkers might be better just cause they give more money.
Hmm, try finding a master commando on Dantooine to teach you. Not every one has a Master Commando as friend... Coronet however is filled with them..

The problem with commandos being in a group is that your limited to what your capable of doing. You out-damage anything you hunt vs. what other members can do in terms of damage. Your "specials" just make killing whatever that much quicker. Your basically sucking up ALL the xp from the kills by doing your specials over and over. Unless your in a group that doesn't care about the xp , then spam the specials away. I've been in a few hunt groups and got complaints about my flamethrower and taking xp. Esentially i was reduced to using just AIM and the normal attack from my flamethrower. I got less xp , but at same time the group was getting xp now as well.
I'm almost master commando. I'm currently at 4/4/4/1 and will prolly make master by tomorrow. I've been getting good buffs from a master doctor, downing vasarian brandy and taking on creatures like plains tusk cats, bolle bols, fambaas, gurks. All solo, all good xp! I can take down bols with like 2 shots from flamesingle2. Just my two cents on commando.

C'est la vie as the french would say.
I just Flame2 and if they dont like it I leave team and kill all naffs on myself with the people who DO want to stay with me. I do however not attack lairs of people who dont belong in my team...

If I might make some suggestions I learned on my grind:
1) Pistol xp goes a lot faster with a republic blaster (I know that'll change in the coming patches but in the mean time it's a lot more powerful than a CDEF or D-18 for the marksman stuff)
2) Carbine, also can be done a lot quicker with a Nym's Slug Thrower (Similar effect, but harder to obtain, find a friend who has one, or is willing to help you get one).
3) Unarmed can be done VERY quickly on yavin with full buffs and a good set of kinetic armor (and a medic doesn't hurt either) Of course, this method is a fair bit more expensive, but if you have some friends you can level up commando very easy.
4) Final point, combat xp can be made fairly quickly if you want to toss C-12s at a lair for hours on end
1) Since it will be fixed I kept this quide for game standards that would be the same in 5 months.
2) Getting Nym's Sluggy takes time as well. If you hardcore naff-hunt you got that XP before you would be able to get Nym's Sluggy AND kill the naffs with it.
3) This guide is for people starting from scratch, getting good armor takes weeks, if not months... And as I said before, not everyone has commando friends.
4) Probaly killing rebels/imperials and using the FP to trade for Combat XP goes even faster
. Besides when I go flame4, acid4 and heavy4 done i got enough Combat XP for Field Tactics 4....
if you need cash and xp.. kill the piket lairs on dantooine... they are usually 2-3k xp per kill so you can get 200-300 combat xp and the missions are worth about 9k... and each lair spawns 9 pikets adn then the lair so you're getting over 10k of HW xp and 1000 combat xp per lair plus 9k in cash... may be slow, but it works and the pikets are easily soloable once you get flame 3.

I use Tortur missions on Talus for exp.
Torturs are harmless. Even without armor they barely scratch you.
You can almost always one-shot them with flamesingle2.
You get 2000-3000 exp per kill, as well as 6k credits per mission which is hardly a bad haul considering the negligible risk.
