Try talking about it in a mature manner...visiting this forum hurts my eyes and reminds me of the bounty hunter forum way too much. I'm sure a lot of it comes from frustration, and I know where you are coming from with it. But for the love of God, every other thread is a /whine post, just like in the CM forums every other thread is a nerf post. Where is the content? I know you will label thisas auseless thread, flaming, etc etc but someone needed to post it.

It is true there is some whining that is going on, but that is only because you missed all of the other constructive posts that were made a long time ago. There are still many constructive posts going around about what needs to be fixed and why, but the DEVs are doing nothing but changes that are sub-par and cosmetic. I guess people are figuring that since the DEVs arent listening to the constructive stuff, then maybe they will listen to the whines. Not only that but they continually slap us in the face with new weapons that work for the Carbineers, Rifleman, and Pistoleers while leaving our broken ones out to dry. The real question is, 'What do you expect people to do?'

Straight up, I"ll admit that I"m only 17. That outa the way, I'd like to say that I think the thing that points at one person's immaturity more than any other factor, is putting down someone elses maturity or saying something along the lines of "shuttup kiddy boy." I dont' mean to flame, but I figured I'd let ya know that you might wanna leave retorts like this out if you TRULY seek to continue whatever actual debate you were currently engaged in.
i agree with jax...for those who havent been with the game/forums since launch...things were VERY different up until a good 4-5 months ago...these forums were actually very enjoyable..much more than others...then everyone (including myself) began ranting and bashing and whining...you know why?
-2 months we didnt have a viable way to even level our proffession
-mods and guns still didnt work, and still dont (hopefully will be fixed tomarrow..)
-that dreaded 2.5X melee mod caused an uproar...
-a good 99.9% of our ideas are not even acknlowdaged (and we all had a TON of good ones in the beginning)
-our thousands of constructive posts got us no where
Its a wonder why ppl didnt start getting angry sooner
also another thing..if SOE or was ignoring us due to all the ranting (which i really doubt..) that is illegal...they are denying us a service while we're paying....they can just ignore the forum monkies since a good chunk of ingame commandos dont even post on the boards...but like hell they cant ignore the proffession because of a small minority of upset (but representative of the entire commando class) that is just plain wrong and illegal
and in my opinion i dont really think they ignored us with all the whining, they ignored posting, but they didnt ignore the proffession
It's not illegal. The service they are providing us is the game. We choose to continue to pay to play while they work on getting this thing out of beta. If they were taking our money and denying us the ability to login, then we might have a problem.

we pay to be commandos..if our proffession has been broken for 8 months, and for a period of time the devs refused to work on the proffession...while we pay for them to work on it...then that could be considered illegal
but hey, who knows what loopholes a lawyer will find in the courtroom..or technicallities (in this case, its a technicallity, not a full overblown thing) something like commando is petty, but to some degree it is denying a service

Try to look beyond the numbers when reading these threads, the post count isn't an accurate indicator of a person's experience
I wasnt saying anything about you being a noob as I said befor but you ignored. I know myself Ive been playing since launch but didnt come here till whatever date it says under my name, about the time I was noticing suddenly getting the crap beat out of me and wondered why (2.5* damage mod) so I understand count doesnt make you a noob.
What I was saying is more towarrds these guys that have thousands of posts that have been here, right here on these forums, fighting for the commando profession with almost every post. After all that effort, and it does matter as this is what we are suposed to do to give feedback, and yet we get no give in our issues. It would frustrate anyone, so a little ranting or whining may happen and I think its not really whining most the time, rather desperation. If it wasnt for some of these people (moment of silence for Ivoni) we wouldnt be even what we are now so to discourage their efforts because you think they are whining would be a bad idea. As far as Im concerned, everyone is right to vent here about the profession as we can all relate, maybe not agree with their ideas to solve it but relate none the less.
