Blind drops someones accuracy by around 50%, that is quite significant. Dizzy is actually far more powerful tgab KD since it means someone can fall over ans stay down for almost20 seconds, a knockdown doesn't last nearly as long. Plus dizzy lasts longer so it's the equivilent of bypassing the 30 seconds delay between the KDs.


As for how it's ineffective, yeah... in PvP. Well the commando isn't about PvP unless it's in large groups but in PvE these status effects are very potent. If you want to go around hunting one on one then go play as a BH.

the problem is that dizzy dosent work in pve... if an animal has more than 2 legs it is toatilly inneffective.



i think that the LP should get a mind shot, somethign like a snare (so that we can get up close with the woundthrower) and mabey a blinding shot. other than that i would just be happy with some speed/accuracy mods.

Dizzy + supression fir would be a knock down blow sweety.

I do not think we should get any kind of blind effect from using the LP. That takes us too close to the realm of BH and eyeshot. Not going to happen. The BH's would be in a downright uproar and scream nerf(especially with eyeshot going to MBH box). What I would like to see with the Launcher Pistol is a special like suppression fire but adds a delay to their next move. Hence making it to where they are made to kneel and stay that way until the delay wears off(no cone effect just to the single target). I like the idea of the single salvo. One big boom at the target. It could have a dizzy effect and be useful for the follow up suggestion I made and have a x4 damage multiplier and a delay of x4.

You proved my point for me, dizzy is only effective when the target is knocked down... so why have a dizzy attack if you don't have a way to knock them down? I'm talking within the profesion, not by getting skills from another tree.



Actually dizzy works every yimethe person or mob has a posture change or in some cases if they simply move. Once they are down things are exceptionally hard to stand up again, also supression fire IS part of the commanos skills since every commando has to master marksman. Thus you can use supression fire to make someone fall over if they are dizzy enough.

The eyeshot is favoured by BHs not because of the status effect but due to the fact it's a special attack which uses the action bar but causes major damage to the mind pool of the opponent. Usually when someone targets the mind (rifle uses for example) they lose some of their down mind however since a BH can spam mindshot and simply pop a stim to recover their action pool that is why people say it's overpowered. The BHs will not complain that the commando's have a special which has a blinding and dizzying status effect as long as the damage is targetted at a random pool like any normal special attack we have.


Also remember we are another hybrid profession so we're entitled to specials similar to them.

1. Concussion Blast - AE Dizzy/Stun


2. Lock-On - 100% chance to hit on next attack, damage rolls slightly higher than normal


3. Proton Warhead - Fires an extremely damaging shot with a fairly long refresh time


4. Barrage - Fires a full load of rockets in the general area in front of you - Cone AE attack

1. Salvo: If you got all those explosions each one should be able to hitseveral targets or just one depending on how many are there.


2. chain fire: one by one, as they get hit their movement pauses.\


3. Circle attack: you get surrounded, you spin around launching those little missiles that graphically makes a smoke screen from the blasts that gives you a chance to escape.

this attak would do verey litel dam but would cover your target in smothering smoke to wera he cant see thus delaying there next action


-KD- Attack


this attack would shot rockest at your feet nocking you down


-DIZZY-Attack


this attack would hit you so haerd it would make you dizzy


-HIGH POWERD- Attack


this attack would be like fan shot no delayafter it and random pool (of corsh tho it wouldnt would not be abel to shoot as fast as a master pistoler every sec becous we dont have all the + speeds )




-mods- -specials- only commando and marks men mods and specials would work with the LP

For balance reasons I think there should be an enhanced "slay frame rate" special that is separate from the one that is the default. Balance because not everyone experiences the default slay frame rate effect when the LP is used. The enhanced version(actually programed into game)should make up for those who feel the default version which is the result of effect of graphics card/connection speed even thoughboth fall within the required specs for the game.


I think a8 second dead stop delayfor everyone who sees the LP fired off should be enough to do the job


Dead stop delay= Can't use a special, move, heal, anything, the game actually stops.

back in my days of playing super smash brothers, is use all my shots with the laser pistol and then throw it at someone-the shots did **edit**, but when u threw it the flew like 90 feet in the air and exploded. i think thats what the LP needs
