Guys, we've been begging for years for the devs to acknowledge us commandos, we've had less fixes than either of your professions so just chill, we've been ignored for far longer and have not gotten one bug fix or change in ages.




Mate, I feel for you Commandos, I really do. As I do Rangers, Creature Handlers and other professions that have been hit hard. And I really don't want to make this a debate about who should get more attention. I agree you have bugs that need to be resolved.....but honestly..... Compared to the huge array of weapons you have received during the CU, you can't honestly say we havent had it as rough.

So, rather than squaring off, lets support each other, eh? We're a community, and while I apologise to an extent for calling for attention in a thread that is good news for your profession, I do not feel guilty for it.


But anyway. I appreciate your level-headed response and I will trouble you all no longer.

Hi Blixtev,

A few updates from what i could test on TC2.

Launcher Pistol
Notes :- now 6m blast radius ? (was cone)
damage
Mob A : 393 (321 + 72)
Mob B : 73 (1 + 72)
Mob C : 73 (1 + 72)
Result : Still broken

Corellian Destroyer
Meant to be 6m radius
Only hit singles even when i had 4 all around me hitting me.
Result : Still broken

Lightning Beam Cannon
Did full (1300 damage) to all in radius yesterday but today is back to :-
Mob A : 1302 (1108 + 194)
Mob B : 195 (1 + 194)
Result : Still broken

Heavy Acid Rifle
Couldn't test but had changed to 6m radius from Cone according to stats.

Mr. Blixtev sir,

If you could shed any light on how you believe AOE should work, it would be easier for us to determine that the AOE is working as you intend.

Since the CU, the AOE has done "full" damage to the selected target, and 0 or 1 point of damage to the surrounding targets.

Since the Elemental fix, the AOE has done "full" damage to the selected target, 0 or 1 point of damage to the surrounding targets and straight elemental damage to the surrounding targets.

We would guess that "working" AOE Damage would do full damage (weapon damage + damage modifier for special used + Elemental) to all targets within the radius of the selected target. Is this so? Is that what we should expect?

Thank you for your attention. Your commitment to getting AOE fixed ASAP would be a resolution of one of the crippling commando problems, and is appreciated.

Hi,

Well, TC2 has my Live Bloodfin Char on it so it must be.

only Galaxies I have listed are :-

TC2 - with bloodfin chars
TestCenter - which has an original TC char on it

Unless they hid one from me ...

Its STILL not working.


Please just give up on this and give us our specials back. Apparently the coding is too difficult to make the seperation.

Hey blix, Technocan and I already verified that the incap bug is fixed in my thread on the Corr forums, also that AoE's still are borked as heck. Not a surprise since it wasn't listed in the notes either

Though, if the AoE was intended to be fixed...Kudos to Blix! But, ack sadly its not

As a Smuggler and Commando, I would really, REALLY like to see the commando issues addressed. Whereas the smuggler has bugs and a severe lack of content, commando is so terribly broken that it is unplayable as a singular class. I support the devs in fixing whatever, whenever, as long as it is as soon as possible. As a commando I am overjoyed that they are finally giving this class some very well deserved, and needed attention. Thank you Blixtev and Stern for all that you are doing. As a Smuggler, I am also anxious to have content, but I am far, far more interested in seeing the bugs that make the game unplayable for so many addressed first; whether it is commandos, armorsmiths, or whoever. Speaking for myself I will do all that I can to further that end.


Again, to all that do so much and serve us better than we could serve ourselves, thank you.

I was dancing for even get a fleeting notice and with the term "issues" used. I was expecting more, believe me...and I just posted my thoughts concerning this on the corr forums.

I can confrim similar numbers on TC "Prime" - Char: Overt

With a Plasma flame thrower, 462-1039 damage with 88 heat elemental my combat spam this morning looks something like:

09:04:18 Overt attacks a Tusken raider with Body shot and hits for 1356 points (1278 points of energy damage and 78 points of heat damage). A Tusken raider's armor absorbed 186 points out of 1542 possible points of damage.
09:04:18 Overt attacks a Tusken sinper with Body shot and hits for 79 points (1 points of energy damage and 78 points of heat damage). A Tusken sniper's armor absorbed 10 points out of 89 possible points of damage.
09:04:18 Overt attacks a Tusken raider with Body shot and hits for 79 points (1 points of energy damage and 78 points of heat damage). A Tusken raider's armor absorbed 10 points out of 89 possible points of damage.
