There's your problem right there.I bet if you check your Combat Tag you'll see they're not hitting too much. If you /examine your grenade you'll see the ideal range. NONE of them are 15-20m away. That's 45-60 feet. Sure, you should do a good deal more damage than you do in this game at that range, but that's still a pretty long throw.
Stand at ideal range (or better yet, kneel) and watch your combat tag to see if you hit. I guarantee you will get more XP than before.
Whenever someone buys grenades from me for the first time, I always explain how this works. One guy SWORE to me that they weren't working. I flew out to meet him and throw some with him. Turns out he wasn't listening to my earlier suggestions of getting at the ideal range.
And no, don't spend any grenades on low-level things that die in one hit from a C12. You're not going to get any XP that way.
My suggestion if anywhere near Talus - Tortur. You can get some great XP on those (1,000+ each and 3,000+ on the lair). I use Talus just because that's where I'm based.

Iwent up the tactics line in two days.Against pickets and Voritors in Dant.and about 3 crates of C22 and 2 crates of Glops. You get roughly 3000 combat xp per kill. And as far as missing, maybe 1 grenade every four or five tosses at ideal range. In PvP that's way too inaccurate, but in PvE with tanks it's hardly something worth complaining about. I had a blast using them.

No, they only affect you or the targets. Not any members in your party or your animals. If they did, they'd be VERY hard to use.
P.S. Everything in this game is meters. If you were standing at 12 feet, you're only 4 meters away. Throw a grenade that close and I hoep you cloned ![]()
Dang PadowanChong, I didn't even think about "meters" vs. "feet". I'll have to give that strategy a run through.
Hey, if you're using pets, won't the grenade damage your pets (not that I have any) as well as the lair or mobs?
I would suggest using your server's Trade forum to find a weaponsmith that makes C12 grenades. Those are the light fragmentation grenades you are qualified to use.
If you use grenedes you are not certified in, you will only 10% percent damage. I have used my own C12's to speed up my carbineer combat XP. Powerups make them even better but they get consumed so you need 2.5 crates of powerups for each crate of C12's.
