Check my link above.... it is an IGN article about the new expansion "Rage of the Wookiees". It isn't april 1st so don't see how this could be a hoax. Jedi Starfighter to be in it... nuff said.

k, I love Wookiees and all, but that sounds a bit lame for an expansion. very very small, hope it's a $10 expansion.

If we dont hit the sandbox "soon", my soon, not TH's and IF we have to wait for this crap to come out so we can have the CU on live, I doubt they will sell many boxes and probably loose a great chunk of hte current playerbase. Probably myself included (and I was labelled a "fanboy" by a friend at one time). I am not happy with this at all.

Its very simple. They wanted to tie in something from Episode III and market that into SWG. I bet they will run a trailer for this wookie expansion in the movie.
Nothing about this expansion makes sence if we dont see it from a marketing point of view. Im sure the majority of us would much prefer what had been thought of it would be: Hoth and/or vehicle combat. I would love to do GCW fights just like the last scenes in EP II with ground vehicles and drop ships. Im sure that would have been the expansion if EP II was coming out not III.

I knew it I f***ing knew it, They devs have been stringing us along because all there fouus has not been the the cu, but another money makin expansion. The CU will be delayed guranteed to finish the new expanison the hopes for a CU are nothing more then dreams.

Hey at least it gives me some hope that the CU will come out in or around May in parallel with the movie. That was a pretty big promiss TH made today and if the CU does not make it at the same time hell will break loose here!

Last week we had the newest member of the sandbox testers say that how upset he was about the communiation in the cu forums, Now one tester is quiting the game altogether. Don't count on this CU ever going live all of it will be dropped to work on this new exspansion. And if it does Novock will be right in saying that the CU won't hit until May even though he was flamed by garvin on it.

I see. We languish in a broken combat model so we can be used to beta test their new product (for which they will charge). WTH did THAT take a long time to announce? There is no reason this couldn't have been shared with the world when they made the decision to delay the "critical" CU to accomodate their product placement.
Oh sure, we get a CU for "free." Like we had no business EXPECTING a working combat system when we PAID for the game and PAID monthly fees to play the game.
It's the "hide the ball" mentality that gets me steamed more than doing a concurrent beta test.
So when the heck is "soon" now?
