If you want to bring faction into it, then the same could be said for a rebel doing the same thing. Although that is griefing and something you could be reported for.

Nah, just buys me some time, if I don't have to DB the imp I can spend time having my arse kicked by a real PvPer. I only bring faction into it because that's what I do to sh*t talking imps, I usually have the same problems with rebels but that's part of the role-play.
I had some sh*t talker asking for a duel in New Freeport, Naboo. His rules were no healing and no DBing. So I KDd and flamed him and stuck by the rules.

Every pistol shot, be it a special or just the standard shot, will have a chance equal to the potency to stick a DoT on your target. PMD1 is, as far as I know, not counted any differently than any other special when it comes to this.
