The special attack cost on the Clone Trooper Rifle is only 95 versus 120 on the Proton, which is what I think he was referring to.

[ PHO | Kauri ] Not to mention the DC-15 is still infinitely easier to obtains.
This needs to be addressed. Period. The Risk-Reward ratio is not up to snuff on the Proton Rifle.
I'm not suggesting nerfing the DC-15, because I love having that as a viable weapon option, but the Proton Rifle really needs to be brought up to par with the Proton Carbine, if not made even better because of the greater risk involved in its aquisition.

Yes samun. plus the clone trooper rifle has practically the same stats as well and imo looks a heck of a lot cooler and commando-like than the proton rifle.
What I dont get is why NK -Necrossis keeps getting refered to as grevious. When while they are somewaht similar they are NOT the same. NK is a run of combat droids from the cloen wars. Grevious was a cyborg based off an apparently similar chassis.
As for the rocket launcher being a single target weapon it isnt. That AoE still does have an affect if NPCs/Pcs are close enough. So likely the proton rifle is the same.
Anyway on wit the actuall discussion at hand yeah the fact that so many of the RoTW master weapons only drop from NK is a total rip off. I mean the BH Carbine, The clone carbine etc are all nice weapons. easy quests. And do the same damage. Granted though the +10 speed/Acc is actually nice (Higher yoru acc is over defence the more damage you do and +10 SPD will add to DPS nicely too). But I'd definately say it's not worth the trouble. I'm also hearing things about supposedly having to bio-link these weapons before they can be used. And that supposedly their untradeable. Dont know if this is true or not though.
