Ya well what kind of nerf do yuo want? You want the flamer to be 23-300 again or what? There aren't going to be many changes since I think it was Holo that said he's got heavy weps where he thinks they should be...plus all this was on the test center for over 2 weeks....
....And I just want this bug fixed, no need to nerf the entire class because of a dev mistake.
it's not a bug, i see commandos consistantly hitting 10+ or above with their flame throwers and specials
this needs to be fixed.

Listen, I'm level 4 flamer myself, this is a bug....I only hit that high against a) something holding a rifle b) something with 0% heat resists (that part isn't a bug)

There is a bug with all heavy weapons reporting as melee style damage to the server, and unfortunately is causing a bunch of exploits, so I'm surprised this isn't fixed yet. Flame single 2 modifier is around 8x, so anything higher then 9500 is a server reporting 'issue'. What happens is the flame DOT can be combined with the flame single hit when the damage is reported if you shoot at the right time, and you hit the health pool. I've gotten 10K hits reported but if you check your log and REALLY pay attention to the DOT, you can see this pretty clearly. This also happens if two commandos shoot at the same time, the server combines the damage into one large damage report (gotten up to 17K report on a mob with two commandos for example). So check your logs, USUALLY, they are right.

I've noticed that my specials tend to hit for more when mobs are in the prone
1) the mob doesn't have 19,000 hp, it's a stormtrooper it had a little over 8000. So whoever said it's reporting the mobs total hitpoints, sorry, you're wrong. Try again, that is a different bug.
2) the bug in question here is the melee damage modifer being used by a flamethrower verse a prone (knocked down) rifle using stormtrooper. When the stormtrooper is standing the flamethrower hit for over 3000 on a normal hit and it shouldn't. Normal hits with the flamethrower vs a mob with the stormtroopers resists should be around 1000-1600 with my flamethrower, 3900 is obviously having some multipler used. You can't get these hits vs creatures only vs. NPC's with rifles, and to a lesser extent carbines. The bug here is not the prone damage multiplier, it's the Rifle/Carbine multiplier.. ALL weapons do more to prone targets.
3) my friend Loha made it and sliced it for me.

Hmmm..reread the entire post and didn't see anyone saying it was the HP bug, who you talking too? Must have missed it somewhere. I thought that bug was removed anyways as I haven't seen it.

I can also verify that this is a bug. Been playing since the game came out, and random killshots for insane damage do happen, but are simply a bug. The damage represents the total health of the thing you kill, instead of stating your actual damage, it states the total health as the creature dies. I assure you a laser carbine can't do over 10k damage
