currently we get no skill mods/specials unique to the LP (uses pistol stuff)
in order to actually be effective, its a good idea to take up pistoleer specials..otherwise your stuck with rollshot and body shot and etc
by needing to use the pistol specials of pistoleer/marksman - that aint being a commando...thats being a pistoleer with a commando weapon
its sad, but its the truth...everything besides the LP in commando line are *real* commando weapons and until the LP gets specials of its own, then it can join that group..but for now I and most likely many commandos, consider it a pistoleer weapon (with a nov commando cert of course

this 2.5X modifier just doesnt effect PvP, but also PvE
now meanwhile EVERY combat class cept maybe riflemen (but then again they have cover shot and camo stuff and can shoot high powered attacks from afar) can kill effectively on their own in PvE
meanwhile..with our hvy weapons, we cant - somethings wrong with that
by himself, a BH can easily own 2 stormtroopers at once...so can a carb and a pistoleer probably
meanwhile, before this 2.5X modifier, i was able to easily solo 2 STs at once as well...but now, now since i get pretty close one of those STs can bring out a melee weapon and incap me in 3 hits (ive actually had an ST incap me once in 2 hits in melee, while on a ST mission....i was incapped for 80 s, got my FP pet dead, my beetle dead, and myself dead)
so just because you dont do PvP, doesnt mean it wont effect you too
You know, if you intimidate those ST then the damage multiplier gets dropped significantly. I mean you do have the brawler skills for a reason. Intimidate is usable even at 30m range.

just cuz you have specials doesn't mean you HAVE to use em.
you can shoot him from 60m.
You're misunderstanding. I know all too well how this mod affects PvE.
My point was in fact that I care so little about PvP that I welcome any nerf that gives TKAs a huge advantage over us, so long as it comes in exchange for removing the damage modifier that makes us impotent in PvE without a group to tank for us.

i like this combinatin a lot. anyone with a rifle starts kiting, pull out launcher pistol or flamethrower. anyone who's not kiting gets the lovely 2.5x dam. mmmmmm .
