Try the test again with an Acid Stream Launcher, which doesn't cause a DoT but has an AoE. I suggest you completely disregard your combat spam and see what happens

Well, I just tested it out on Datooine vs some huurtons. Try the test with some weapon that doesn't cause a DoT. My test just confirmed that no damage was being dealt. I could get states to stick in the AoE, but no damage.

Acutally, the only AoE damage that I did cause was against the lair, which only took the 1 energy damage done to it and was uncapable of negating this through armor as it was just a pile of rocks or whatever.

And I know you are certain that the DoT wasn't causing it. Where are you on the Test Center, perhaps we could meet and test this out together.
