I vote we feed the troll to a Krayt.
BBQed, of course.

Ok, I'm a commando 2/4/3/0 (work in progress I know) Master rifleman, smuggler 0/1/1/0 <---- going away when we get a reliable base sclicer in guild and medic 3/0/0/0. HAPPY? Now leave
Ahhh so you USE the smuggler profession like a grenade grinder, eh? Taking something out of it with no intent to ever master and you intend to drop it later?
Explain to me why you're special and better than the grenade grinders. I'm all ears.

I use the smuggler tree to slice things, like it was intended to do, I've ben many combat proffesions before, heck I was even a armorsmith/weaponsmith at one point. It's one thing to pick up a skill i.e. terminal slicing so you can slice terms, its another thing to pick up a proffesion in order to get another. make sense? I'm not using smuggler to pick commando, I'm just filling a hole in my guilds demo team, until we can get a master smuggler.Smuggler does nothing for me, in fact, it hinders me from fleshing out my template. I would uch rather have terrain negotiation, and be able to escape from trouble, rather than have to feighn death, and have a Imp trash my armor and leave me with 1000bf, and blackbarred.

I would believe you about the slicing branch. But the feign death? You're busted there. You can't tell me that the devs intended for you to just take 1 box out of smuggler to help you in PvP. That's not "respecting the profession". That's NO DIFFERENT than grenade grinding and you know it.
See, that's what annoys me about you anti-dabbler types. Not only do you miss the point of the entire skills system (a matter for another thread), but you actually do the things you cry about! Hypocrites bother me.

This is my last post on this thread. If you think its a better idea to be balck barred, and your armor trashed and rack up 399 health, 399 action and 1099 mind wounds, rather than getting off scott free, well, I feel for ya. By having to invest sp in smuggler though, means I don't have them left over for scout, something I sorely miss after having it since day 2.

You could have put those points in medic or in more commando or wherever. But no, you specifically chose feign death.
You are no different than the people you complain about, which is probably why you complain so loudly about them. We always see our own faults in others most clearly.

For the life of me, I can't figure out why you guys get so bent out of shape about something some other person you don't even know does with his skillpoints.
