Sadly, the nerf did not hit the real problem. FR3 is just the ultimate escape button. So Jedi run away, wait for the FR3 to run out, come back, rinse repeat.
I doubt that any mature Jedi player reallywanted FR3 before or after nerf. What right minded player would want to play a Jedi that bears no resemblance to the Jedi from the movies?
And surely there could have been some way to block it, like Force Choke and/or some non Jedi abilities.
The joke is a bad one.And its at our expense unfortunately.

Noah, this isnt about continuity. You can only make so many changes to a concept before it loses the vision of the concept. Force Run does it for me. Suit to taste.

personally ive always thought it insanelys tupid that a disbled vehichle cant be repaired by regular means, or that a particular clas of player cant fix it for you or that it cant be sold to a junk dealer ofr at least half the price

hahaha what a load of cr@p. Not the same thing as av-21s and Barcs being disabled in 1 shot. For exampled what if your toolbar bug switches the toolbar set and instead of pulling you cheap as chips swoop it pull your barc straight from the garage? I hit from a dumb npc which spawns on top of you outside your house when your combatant. Thats just a joke

Its like this..
Lets say you own a shniny, new Mercedes S-Class.
Now woudl you drive it over curbs, through empty lots, across broken glass, and bang it from side to side going down an alley.
No of course not. you baby that ride. Because its expensive and not easy to replace.
Treat your AV-21 the same. You wanna head to the VIllage pull out an expendable swoop instead.
No dev effort needed for this..just a waste of developer time in the face of real issues.

so the kunga warriors who keep killing meh barc are throwing handfulls of rocks at it? which brings up the question what kind of area attacks can a weponless guy in a loincloth have?
my big problem is getting the UBER BARC as a reward for buying a box, then being forced to pay from 350k to a million to get it fixed after the kungas "kill noisy iron bol", WTH devs? does anyone at SOE use their brains for more then just something to absorb the alcohol?
Don't want your BARC blown up? Don't care to pay the 350k-1 million (probably more like 100k now, though) to repair your vehicle? Buy a swoop.
I can buy a freeking barc for 3.5 mil these days (recently saw one for 2.5 at dant MO) whats the point in repairing ANYTHING?? speeders & swoops cost less then the repair kits.
That's a great idea. Buy a swoop. It's no skin off SOE's nose if you don't actually use your BARC.
Anyhow.. its MY REWARD FOR SPENDING MONEY ON TTL... WHY SHOULD MY REWARD BE A COSTLY LIABILITY?????
(1) Devs don't set the price on vehicle repair kits, the crafters do. (2)There are some players who specialize in crafting vehicles. Giving out the best vehicle in the whole game as a reward without giving some kind of compensation to the people who craft the other vehicles is game-breaking to them. (It's not that they don't want to craft better vehicles--it's that they can't. (3) It's expensive, but it's still the best vehicle in the game and you don't have to pay for it up front.
DEVS read that part again please...

I have to say i agree in part. On one, hand, one-shot killing vehicles is silly. I've long been a proponent of vehicles that can serve a combat role, with armor etc. (Balanced of course. Yeah, that's going to happen) Seems to me these swoops, BARCS etc. should have some decent armor\HP. That said, I think that you shouldn't be able o repair a destroyed\disabled vehicle.
It's like this. If you car has a dent, it's like the HP went down a bit. broken things, things not working right, more XP. But when your car is flaming, for a VERY long time, and an explosion occurs, it's "totaled". There's a point where you shouldn't be able to repair it, it's now just a heap of scrap.
And yes, buy a swoop. Swoops are simply the best. A mere 15K (Barely even put a dent in a newbies pocket) and move just as fast as these other overpriced speeders. As soon as mounts and vehicles appeared, I purchased a speeder, than a swoop, and that's all I've used ever since. Anything else is just a waste.

Then why do you care? Buy another swoop.

1) Well, actually, DEVS do have some control over price, because they set the resoure requirements for a kit.
2) Dude, think about this. You got something (In fact, a very fancy and expensive item) essentially for nothing. You didn't even do a quest, it just dropped into yur lap just for spending 30 real life follars. It's essentially like you bought the in-game item with real money, and you're complaining? Here's my advice. Sell your BARC and buy 20 swoops. Then keep the rest.
DEVS read that part again please...
