Can you use suppression fire with heavy weapons as well, or just pistol/rifle/carbine?

Thats not really going to help against someone with more powerfull pistol skills/specials. Suppression fire will work with the Launcher pistol. So if someone is running away from me, I switch to the LP to hit suppression fire, and if they have a timer on them and it doesn't work, then I switch to the particle beam.

I have yet to have a real problem with kiting. If they Kite you just burst run to them.
