Ooh, this looks relly nice. Just one question, would you be able to take one these trees per master elite? Like doing both MCo and MBH trees? If not, ohh well, I could go for only one tree

This would most likely be the something that got me back into SWG, coulped with real fixes for us.

My feeling would be yes. And since it's differnet XP this shouldn't be a big stacking problem. Especialy if the Accuracy / Speed & Defenses are specific. Example:

Heavy Weapon Speed & Accuracy / Heavy Weapon Defense or Ranged and Melee Defense

The only real exceptions would be BH & SL, and that may be fine for SL since they're a bit underpowered as it is. BH could be kept in check by making their bonuses less, but giving them better certs & specials. There's a balance there somewhere.

I fully support the advanced progreesion of non jedi classes as well. In fact for all professions including entertainers, crafters, etc. And I do believe that the longer you spend in one profession should make you better at it. If you are crafting armor, then over time you should become one hell of an armorsmith with quests to open up skills, tools, etc. This would make the game much more interesting. They should even do his for pilots.

I would definitely like to see something along these lines introduced. I have been here since Beta 3, actually went so far as to get all but one box of FS XP filled, then just stopped.

I finally reached the conclusion that I just didn't want to play a Jedi I actually started dropping those hard won FS boxes recently, and returned to the best prof in the game..

Bump for ya

This could make the game last longer, if they do it right.

Cool. What would you make the requirememnts? Seriously, just curious what everyone thinks.

IMHO, it should be. It should take quite a while to get, that's kind of the point. And I know a few Commandos that have gotten WAY more than that much over the years, lol... wait.... that's not funny... that's sad

I would think you'ld wantthe totalXP amounts to = the average amount of time a regular players plays for 1.5 years to 2 years.

There's a small Rodian Commando in our guild that could grind1.2 mil every 3 hours... Now I know he's crazy, but that would mean he could get to Tier 1 in 3or 4 days.

Again, serious question: Is that cool if he wanted to grind it? Or should it take longer? What's a reasonable amount of game play balancing playing & grinding? Should it take longer than the Village?

MX13, sounds like what you want to do is play WoW. The level system in that game is great.

Tried it, but didn't like it. Also tried Matrix, and that one was more messed up than SWG. I play Guild Wars & CoH as well a bit. But I'm a huge SW junkie and this is by far the best concept game, just not the best supported

Since I didn't really play WoW, would that type of level system work in the context I suggested? Just curious...
