Thread: Time Delay Removal!
hell a master commando SHOULD be able to quickly switch weapons, and with that much skillpoints in one profession you pretty much DESERVE it.
This would be simple.
This would be fair.
Especially if in Beta the "Heavy Weapons Speed/Accuracy" mods in the HAR and the FT trees cross-benefited each other. This would suggest that the plan for having both HAR and FT trees would have been a total of +90 Heavy Weapon Speed and +160 Heavy Weapon Accuracy, which is (Anyone shocked?) EXACTLY what a master rifleman has! It looks like the intent was for us to have +90 and +160, but the separation into separate FT and HAR mods wound up halving our benefit.
If anything, you are being VERY reasonable by suggesting a bump of ONLY +30 Garvin. But good luck. Anything is better than nothing.

I was also thinking that if we get this "Speed Boost", I'd like to see it placed in the Master Commando box...currently we don't have any speed mods in that box, and this would give a nice boost to Master Commandos vs. Flame Tree Dabblers (giving a good reason to get Master Commando...nothing against Dabblers, but Masters should be noticablybetter then Dabblers)...
Would this be acceptable to you all...or at least something nice to try out? I'd like to push for us to get it in a Mini-Publish or, at the latest, with Publish 10....
Agreed! If the time delay removal is not possible, definetly give extra speed bonus in the Master box. (definetly not dabbler friendly.)
See if this isn't out of line:
Add FT and HAR speed like you say, +30 (personally, I want more, like +40), and Accuracy increase of similar magnitude.
Add Grenade accuracy bonus so that it's maxed out (Master Commando should be pretty accurate with grenades), and speed. (If making the grenade none suicidal is too much trouble, having a superaccurate and fast grenade can help some of us to overlook the self wounding aspect.)
Up the melee and range defense bonus from +25 to +50. Or add Def vs. x bonus.
Add/increase disposible weapon speed and accuracy bonus significantly as well.
Really make it worthwhile to have the master box since Mandalorian armor is hard to get.

Hmm, interesting point... On this note, I vote for the Devs to change all the speed and accuracy mods of all the Heavy Weapons back to how it was in Beta.
If that's the case, for me, having the Flame, Acid, and LLC tree would be a huge bonus in speed and accuracy!!! Nice...
Sounds good to me... aside from the fact that I'd have to drop either TKA or Pistoleer to Master Commando again. ![]()
If the HAR and FT are going to share speed mods though, would it be possible to get the HAR speed or HAM cost lowered as well, by any chance? Right now most HAR's are slower than FT's and th HAM cost is the straw that breaks the camel's back in terms of the weapon's use. The only way I'd see the HAM cost on the HAR justified would be if its attacks had the 16m restriction removed.
Which, come to think of it, would make it a viable weapon for a change as well (combined with the speed boost.)
