Hey Brother! I heard ya the first time! ![]()
J/K. I usuallly don't post a lot either. I read a whole lot of posts though. I got MCommando way before I became fed up...I think last December, and it's just snowballed from there. In early summer, I quit using TKM skills and focused only on Commando. What a slap in the face!
Stick around... ![]()
Slainte Lurkers!

I think most new players browse through our top issues thread and quickly switch elite professions.

I'm still about lurking... and Master Commando's don't fly "planes"... we pilot transatmospheric self-contained spacevehicular varianceswithsignificant magnitudes of firepower. My trusty X-wing, A-Wing, Nova Courier and "Love Sub" ferry me aboutso I cancontinuetopropogate the "burn" throughoutthe galaxy.

I made master commando shortly after launch and master lurker shortly after that.
I don't post because the points I might make have usually already been mentioned. But I'm still here - battered, but not broken.
And /agree Zade (despite being a rebel). Don't call my Oppressor a "plane".

This thread is awesome! I didn't know our community was THIS huge!
Honor meeting you guys. Too bad everyone knows I don't have my "Space Legs" yet...hehehe...
I guess Commandos are really the "Silent Killers" in some respect eh?
Slainte to the Silentand (soon to be) Deadly!
P.S. Not fart jokes on that one ok?

Commando isn't one of the professions that... *ahem*... pwn... people. Not like meleers or Riflemen (the one ranged profession people fear).
The Commando posters here aren't the run of the mill combat oriented players. I'll categorize us:
- Too much loyalty to their first elite profession. I fall into this category. Kind of like your first [...EDIT].
Yup...Stern is a commando in my previous fiction, I love commandos...pre-Launch profession. And only elite mastered on Stern.
- The title of Commando, especially to newbs (not n00b, according to the titled thread), is an appealing one. Hmm... I fall into this one also.
Gotta love "Master Commando"
- Players who go against the grain of FOTM templates. Commando isn't flavor of the month anymore. If anything, it is a Jedi grinding profession if you want to try using something derogatory. When I fight (and get killed in my ST armor) other players, when people see the Master Commando title up, there's no basis for anyone to say I'm a FOTM or temploiter.
Never was a conformist.
- Players who like to see stuff go boom or go up in flames & smoke. The Launcher Pistol, Flamethrower, and some of our consumeables have cool effects and animations. Though the animations can be a tactical hazard for us. As for the Flamethrowers... that's for the Pyro's in our ranks.
*Yells out BAM! Emerild style*
- Players who relish in pain & suffering. Admit it, as Commandos, alot of incaps & deaths come our way. But some probably like this stuff.
Well...no not really
A minor bonus... Heavy Infantry and Shock Trooper are cool titles. Great for Imperials in factional armor.
Only Master Commando suffices for me! Its tradition
Some comments heh...2:11 am in the morn, casually lurking while playing KOTOR II (god almighty, I LOVE THIS STORY!!! It builds so effortlessly off of the first game, twists it and sheds light on a whole other perspective while retaining uniqueness, mystery, and a thrilling tale.)

But its a pretty sick shade of orange!
Btw...still playing KOTOR II...and still lurking the forums - haven't gone to bed yet, prolly won't. Sad aint it? Now if only SWG had such a compelling storyline...
And whoever said this was shorter than the first game, they're dead wrong...my god...soo more depth...and I havent even gone after those Sith Lords yet! If the game ends in another 5 hours though, Ill be a bit dissapointed (just hit the 25-26 hour mark)...always can take a turn when you least suspect it.
