I've seena couple Master Commandos as I was passing though star ports. I think I 've seen them post in this forum.
I know of one new Master and I'll contacther tonight about posting.
I've seen a bunch of Non-Master Commando titles but I write those off as FS 'nade grinders and forget about them.

I signed in to reply to this post. I understand that the CU is not set in stone and is most assuredly subject to change. But, what I dont understand is all the secerecy and info/post control that his being implemented (I.E deleting posts that point out broken promises/ show significant proof of huge issues). The Dev's job is to make the player happy am I not correct? The Dev's job is to strive to make the game better and better. The Dev's job is to be commited and professional in their duties. Now I do not question wheather or not they have all of these traits, infact I respect the Dev's for what they do, their commitment, and professionalism......but......riddle me this: Why all the secerecy? The answer: There are two answers I will consider acceptable. 1) There is no CU documents that will truly be used in the CU. Therefore, making all existing documents Moot. 2) Per the history of the Dev team, the CU was only an idea that they put down on paper and have no intention of implementing.
The reason why I will only accept such reasons? Because those are the only BELIEVABLE ONES that will be accepted by a community that is filled with the Venom of Frustration and Poisoned by Broken Promises!

Just wanted to say I think the commando community is awesome, far more personable and approachable than the other boards. Just feels like you can post here without getting a hail of flames.
I don't post much anyways though, true lurker till the end. >_<

hey, don't write me off. I am a novice commando, not doing the jedi grind thing. I'm just going it slow waiting for the CURB to hit and see how things look from that end of the spectrum. Oh, and i am also getting my SWup in the world so, well, I WAITING FOR THECURB DAMN IT!
Its all Garvin's fault. He made me take commando with all his fancy words and beautiful speeches.Man, he is better than an army recuiter any day.

I'm shock trooper and proud of it.
Can't be a master commando, as I aim for master CH.
But well... I lurk here then and again.
I don't know a lot of commando... But the tank thread got some supporter from a generic swg french forum where I also lurk. This lizard is godsend... or devil, or something.
Well the idea was pushed in a chrismas thread a few day back. Not even by a commando!

I don't want to put my master title on because too many people would be afraid I would pwn them, they just aren't prepared for that master commando title.

I to have seen a decline in the Commando forums. I do not post my normal anger daily posts any more because I am busy reading the docs or reading the doc disc. forums. I really have nothing bad to say any more it looks liek we are going to get better then we are so weeeeeeeeee. But there is still much to be desired. And with having to wait for the sandbox to really get a feel for any thing there is not much we can do.
The one main reason is most the guys that would start posts here are reading the sand box stuff or have just given up. If I was not in the sandbox ide be ranting till maybe a week from now and then just stop looking here at all. Because I understand it is depressing man

Excellent point. I have been working towards BH, but that was b4 I started to read the forums. I am now working towards Commando. From what I have read there are some issues with the profession, but there is a lot of potential... I am not sure if I will master or use it to help my BH profile..... The rewards for becoming a MC should be there for you once you arrive.
(Take into account that I am also a newbie. Bought game on 10-27-04 when JLS was released, around the time I upgraded my computer.)

lurking around mostly, here too.
y ? well most of the posts are
-ideas of how to improve our profession (again and again with different words and new threads)
-questions by ppl just wanting to grind (i hate you 
)
)-whining about our messed up profession (which is of course true and sad)
- vague stuff, disinfo, hopes and drunkards (consider meself part of the last)
so i keep lurking and looking into garvins newsthreads and generally do mostly nonsense if sthg. at all,
and try not to fall into "w/t/f where is the combatfix"-threads
