I currently have a M. Commanod, M. Rifleman on another server, can't transfer him, ( glowy) and I like the damage output with rifleman but I'd like to have a little better melee defense's.
I'll be starting on Starsider shortly with another character.
Master Commando / Master Smuggler is my template on Shadowfire. Great support profession in PvP. Smuggler root and snare combined with Commando AoE is an awsome crowd control combo.

Well, I've gotten stuck on my temp again lol. If I go Master Commando/ Master Carbineer/ Rifles 0-4-0-0, then I can get tons of FS boxes, but then I won't have a root attack...like I actually use them that much lol.
Some templates I've been considering (all already have MComm in them, won't list it in there):
- Master Carbineer, Combat Medic 4-0-0-0
- Master Carbineer, Pistols 0-4-0-4 (classic hehe)
- Master Carbineer, Squad Leader 0-4-0-0
- MBH, Squad Leader 0-4-0-0 (great defence here)
I can always change since most of them are so similar, just depends on what the guild needs ![]()

probably MSL plus doc 4/0/0/4 and as much commando as I can pick up.
Yep I can testify to that,
Smuggler is now all pistol and combat XP. Concussion shot will soon be a real mez that stops all activity for 30-40 secs that will break on damage. So do not take Smuggler because you want to use it as a root.

The three templates I'm looking at are
1) Commando/Squad Leader/Bounty Hunter x4xx( for Critical shot) The main point of this is for squad leader bonuses
2) Commando/Creature Handler/Bounty Hunter x4xx (aslo for critical shot) The main point of this is killign stuff with pets lol
3)Commando/Smuggler/Pistoleer 44x4 The main point of this is crowd control AOE Root (stopping shot) and disarming shot
I'm well known for odd templates but they always end up working damn fine for me.
My template is multi-purpose:
Master Commando
Pistoleer 4402
Novice Smuggler
Fencer 0004
Swordman 0030
This gives me access to:
-Debuffs:
Binding Strike (Fencer) - reduces target action regeneration
Burst Shot (Pistoleer) : Reduces all regeneration rates
Disarming Shot (Pistoleer): Delays enemy next attack (extremely effective when spammed with a launcher pistol)
Warning Shot (Pistoleer): Reduces target's defenses by -80 points. Or aka, increases your damage by 10%
Advanced Armor Break (Swordman): increases your damage done to target by about 50%.
-Crowd Control (2 roots that can be cycled)
Stopping Shot (Pistoleer): 18 second root
Concussion Shot (smuggler): 20 second root
