Moving flame single 2 or eyeshot (bh) to master is a nerf. It is just not a nerf to masters.

My whole problem with dabblers is that In my opinion it was the dabbler griefers who caused all the cries of nerfing. Yes there are master commandos who greifed also but the majority and I mean majority like 90% of them were only getting 0 0 4 0 to exploit the revegne tef. To run around and act like they were some sort of SWG god.

Its going to be the dabbler griefers that cause CH to have some nerfs some day also. Its hard to call anyone who goes BH for eye shot a dabbler since all the skills points they expend just to get there.

Maybe just maybe the Devs will take away the 2.5x mod and do something else to curb griefing dabblers. I dont think it will ever happen so this game is going to be the nerf game of the century.

There is no way I will ever give up Master Commando no matter what they do to the proffesion but I am looking at other proffesions that I might be able to master along with Commando that will help me survive.

I guess I would be what you call a Commando "dabbler". Of course, I am also a Master Creature Handler, and in our forum we call many Commandos and Bounty Hunters who use pets "dabblers", too.

Just as you are calling for all uder skills to be given only at master, be aware that the same talk goes on in the other profession boards, such as taking away a "dabbler's" ability to call a Greater Sludge Panter or a Graul Mauler after only 16-27 skill points.

What would that leave us? Commandos who have uber weapons capabilites, but no pets to tank for them? Creature Handlers with Rancors, but no combat skills? Might work fine for groups, but what about solo players?

My point is that this is how I want to play. I have spent a lot of time figuring out what skills I need to take and to have the kind of character I do, and I've had to sacrifice many hard earned skill points from other areas to do it. The nice thing about the SWG skills system is that it DOES allow you to be a jack of all trades if you wish, and not have to "Master" anything to get some benefits of that class.

i agree it is setup to dabble but should some of or the best skills be open to anyone shouldnt they be at the master level i think they should

people who dabble commando 0/0/4/0 i never tried ch but can i tame call teach a graul with just 4 boxes?

again dabbling is cool needed imo but i firmly belive the best should be at master.

1get +25 ac and speed on all gernds

2get +10 ac and speed on all hw

3get +25 ac and speed to both the flamer and the har

4move singel 2 to master

5and if for some dumb reson this 2.5x mlee dam stays masters should have only max 1.5x i rither say 0

and i think that sums it up its not much but it would make it worth geting master commando and stop flame 4 commandos from being abel to greif as much

I am a master commando on the Kettemoore server and I understand exactly how you feel, but I have to hand it to the "Dabblers" for knowing what to do better than us masters. All the dabblers prove is that they are smarter than us. It definitely should not be that way! Masters are supposed to be the TOP dog of their profession and should be far better than any "Dabbler", butwe are not. Infact I am even considering myself to surrender my Master title. This 2.5X penalty does not make any sense at all when we have to be a Spec in Unarmed. I will also admit I was upset to see people running around Dabbling in the profession doing as much damage as me as a master. Then I realized, there are no real benefits to being a master. Something definitely needs to be changed.

It's the same thing... moving something away from a certain area is a NERF to that particular area. Moving it up the tiers is what SOE calls an "enhancement" and what everybody else calls a "NERF".

Again, I say... why "NERF" when you can just give a bit more power to Master and actually make it worthwhile.
