With the current state that the Commando Profession is in, I wouldn't blame you at all...and I'd be willing to place odds that you'll be back when 2 things happen:
1) Commandos finally get our fixes/updates...
2) The Jedi gleam wears off...
Awhile back I got to help test a Jedi Character over on TC2...it was fun for awhile, but eventually got old...Now I'm more interested in just creating a FS Character...
So defitinely go have some fun...and if you do decide to come back amongst the Commando fold, you'll be most welcomed!!!

Hmm, and come to think of it, what if for the initial padawan phase you were a jedi commando?
Hehe, it'd be fun to catch other jedi off-guard during a duel by chucking a thermal detonator at 'em.

Commando was my 30th bust.... I mean proffesion. Imstarting to think im just going to make my self FS and get on the BH term. When they find me they will be surprised to find a TKM/Master comanndo in full armor. (I dont know about points this might not be posable) But after a year of play I think being hunted will be fun. It's just that TKM knockdown2 followed by alittle flamesingle2, well it just feels right.

Well, I will have a stable of 4 characters once I unlock, so I am thinking of doing this:
Ahab - Jedi
Hellshot - Force Sensitive Armorsmith/Tailor
Qweequeg - Force Sensitive Master Pistoleer, Master Rifleman
New Toon (to be named when I unlock) - Force Sensitive commando
Admittadley, this will take a long time to do, but it just seems to make more sense to use my most experienced toon to pursue Jedi rather than trying to regrind out everything including all 6 force sensitive trees.

sorry, but what's the advantage of having a force sensitive commando? does it at all affect your performance as a commando?

Hehe, you should name your new toon Starbuck, Hellshot.
Basically, the FS skills let you get increased accuracy, defense, and speed for your weapons.

With the full ranged speed tree a commando can shave about 10% off their special delay timer, down to the 2s cap. 2 seconds ins the animation time of the specials in case anyone wanted to know where I got that number.

Are you sure the animation caps the speed? I know with pistoleer it seems I sometimes fire faster than the animations play (for example, sometimes I'll use pistol whip but it doesn't actually play because I'll be shooting fanshots every second before and after.)
Or is this kinda like when you start firing and it holds you to one spot until the animation finishes?
